The Temple of the Queen of the Sea was built in memory of Lin Mo, the goddess of the sea. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and formerly known as the Temple of the Concubine. It was renovated in the Qing Qianlong period and was named the ancient temple of Yuanjun to worship the Niang Niang (also known as Mazu). During the War of Resistance Against Japan, it was destroyed by the Japanese army. In 1995, Mr. Huo Yingdong donated funds to rebuild. The Tianhou Palace is located in the southeast of Dajiao Mountain, near the Pearl River and the sea. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The architectural style is stacked on the mountain and the scenery is infinite.
