Yongqing Temple was built in the Song Dynasty. It has been continuously expanded in successive dynasties, forming a certain scale. The temple has three Buddhist halls, more than ten East and West chambers and mountain gates. The temples are decorated with Buddha Tathagata, Buddha Kwan Shi Yin and many Bodhisattvas, which are sacred sites for the people's Zen forest in northern Qiongzhou.
