Tallinn’s Quaint Old Town!
Attraction name: The Old Town of Tallin
Location: Tallin, Estonia
Tallin is located only two hours by boat from Helsinki or three hours bus drive from Riga. It is one of the most underrated cities in Europe and one of the cheapest.
The old town of Tallin is superb. There are cobbled streets, authentic restaurants, cathedrals to climb and artwork on the walls.
I loved going to the top of one of the cathedrals to enjoy a birdseye view of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Lesser-known fairy tale country Estonia | Tallinn Tallinn Guide
🌟Time: Early December, I feel it's just right to go at this time, you can appreciate the fairy tale world of snow scenery❄️, and it won't be too cold. And there are many festivals🎄 at this time, if you are lucky, you can also encounter outdoor performance activities🙌🙌
⚠️But now it gets dark earlier, basically after three and a half in the afternoon it gets dark, but it won't be very dark after dark, and it's really super safe here!!👍(Envious of the area🥹)
🌟Transportation: Taxi🚖Bolt, very convenient and affordable.
Bus🚌 fare 2 euros, you can directly swipe your bank card on the bus.
🌟Route:
The first route: You can stroll around the old town first, then slowly climb up the slope to a very representative check-in point📷, the viewing platform (Kohtuotsa viewing platform Kohtuotsa vaateplats) can overlook the panorama and the coastline🌄.
The second route is: You can take a car🚘 to the Estonian Art Museum (KUMU Kunstimuuseum) to get off, you can visit the museum, then walk down a staircase (Katariina trepp), this is also a tourist attraction🏞️, then continue to walk forward to the Kadriorg Art Museum (Kadrioru kunstimuuseum), Baroque palace and art gallery✅. Finally, after a long walk, you can see a monument🪦 (Russalka), you have reached the seaside🏝️, the scenery is super beautiful👍👍
🌟Recommend a very good restaurant🍴, the environment is also very characteristic➡️
Name: Beer House
Address: Dunkri 5, 10123 Tallinn, Estonia
The pork knuckle (Beer House Fest) of this shop is very good, very delicious!!🍖👍
And the home-brewed beer🍻 here is really the best I have ever drunk! There is honey-flavored beer (Medover Honey), which is very good to drink, and it tastes a bit sweet.
And there will be live music performances💃🕺 from 20:00-22:45, the atmosphere is super!
🌟Flow: I use a domestic phone card and bought a data package.
You can also buy a phone card directly at the airport.
🌟Payment: You can swipe your card everywhere here, it's super convenient.

In the city of Tallinn with Citybox 🇪🇪
If you stay in Citybox Hotel Tallinn you will be placed right in the centre of the Estonian capital .
Close to the Rottermann Quarter Tallinns old town and within a 5min walk of Nautica a nice shopping mall with restaurants , a supermarket and High street retailers.
This eco- certified hotel is 0.7 miles fromPort of Tallinn which was the main reason I stayed as i was getting the ferry to Finland (very convenient).
I’ve stayed in a Citybox before and I’ve always enjoyed my stays , you can make use of the hotels amenities such as free WiFi , concierge services and an arcade/games room.
There is also a communal living room and a kitchen/eating area offering a microwave , fridge and a water boiler , as well as a vending machine.
The hotel also has a 24hr front desk with multilingual staff.
Have a comfortable stay in one of the 272 individually decorated guest rooms , bathrooms have power showers and hairdryers , rooms have desks and housekeeping which is provided weekly .
If your in the beautiful city of Tallinn and need a place to stay the Citybox is a great option , it’s a 3star hotel and the room rate is very good value for money , I had a great stay and would definitely recommend 👍🙋🏻♂️🇪🇪
