Photos of The Royal Castle in Warsaw

The palace castle was built at the end of the 13th century. It was originally a wooden structure and a pentagonal building. It was once the residence of the duke of the Duchy of Mazo Dashe. It was converted into the seat of the royal family from 1569 to 1572. Historically, the palace has been repeatedly damaged by invaders and has been continuously expanded during the restoration process. It was destroyed in World War II in 1939, rebuilt in 1971, and opened to the public in 1984.
