Photos of Tang City

Tang City is located at the foot of Dafu Mountain, in the southwestern suburbs of Wuxi City. It is well known as an outdoor movie and television filming location for Tang Dynasty sets. This set location reproduces the prosperity and level of development within the country during the historic Tang Dynasty, and is also a popular cultural attraction for tourists. It consists of a group of stone arches, a tower, a group of archway gates, a "qianzhuang" (an ancient type of underground bank) and other attractions. There are also teahouses, wine cellars, and Taoist temples.
