In the New Year in Xi'an, look for the sites of the Tang Dynasty. There are relics everywhere. There is a restoration of the miniature landscape of Daming Palace in the Daming Palace Site Park. It won’t be easy to see how big the Daming Palace was just by looking at the miniatures, but they are still very stunning. Daming Palace has a circumference of more than 7.6 kilometers; the area is about 3.2 square kilometers, four times that of the Beijing Forbidden City, which is equivalent to three times the size of Versailles, twelve Kremlin, thirteen Louvre, fifteen Buckingham Palace, and five hundred football fields. When you look at it this way, you can try to imagine how big the Daming Palace really was.
