Lambing Flat Folk Museum It is called Lanping Folk Museum in Chinese. The English name originally meant the flatland where lambs were produced. The first Europeans to arrive in this area in 1826 built the sheep house where the ewes were produced. At the end of June 1860, gold mines were discovered here, so everyone called it "Lambing Flat (the flat land for lambs). The museum shows the tools and living utensils that people have used during the course of the century-old history. The most valuable of these is the banner of "Roll up Roll up No Chinese" made by European miners at the time of the museum.

The highlight of the museum is the banner created by European miners to expel Chinese miners during the civil riots in 1861. The flag has been around for more than 150 years and is the oldest flag in Australia.
