Great hotel if you are looking for a place with a great view and close to the ethnic village. Service from Kaia was great! She addressed all the questions we had and helped us with our luggages and needed amenities. It’s a family-place with a number of children, hence if you are looking for a more adult-friendly place with some quietness this may not be the place for you

Everything is good, but food (in-room dining) is atrocious. My 2nd meal consist of mostly chilli and bones; barely any meat. Employee was sincerely apologetic after I feedbacked.

We arrived at 8:30pm and the front desk was short staffed (only one person for such a big hotel). Need to wait to be served. Location is great. And our room is modern, spacious, and nice. Food is average though.

Great view and have a relaxing vibe in the hotel. Family or Couples are recommended.

I loved my stay at Hualuxe. I was able to talk to them through wechat before coming to confirm Covid-19 testing policies. The service was great, he hotel was clean, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and assisted me in booking a car to visit the Stone Forest. The location is far from the city. I loved being close to the lake and walked there a few times. Overall, it was a great stay!

Very accommodating and great amenities. Loved the buffet breakfast and the hot pools. Wish the big pool would have been heated, very chilly.

The experience was great. The breakfasts were very complete, perhaps lacking a little more pastries. The room was very comfortable and easy to access. The exterior surroundings of the rooms are beautiful. The service coordinated by Cathy was very friendly and the attention was in English, which is appreciated by those of us who do not speak Chinese yet.

I need to stay in Kunming for one night when I go to Dali. I chose Hualuxe Hotel on Ctrip. I didn't expect to find a treasure! The internal environment is also very good, especially the lobby. The afternoon sun pours into the lobby through the bright windows. The soft and warm light gently falls on the table with coffee. Light and shadow interweave in the lobby, and the fragrance of coffee slowly diffuses in the air, creating a quiet and beautiful a**osphere~ In addition, the service, special thanks to the butler Jerry for his service: active + careful + considerate, from the warm reminder before check-in to the intimate greetings after check-in, must give a thumbs up! Other hotel services include the front desk who helps coordinate the room, and the smiling service of the cleaning staff, which really reflects the management level of a hotel~ The hotel room is very clean, and there are abundant fruits (see picture) as well as yogurt and sweet soup~ A warm reminder, the hotel can park for free, but you need to inform the front desk staff of your license plate number in advance, otherwise you will be charged when you go out! When you come to Kunming, I recommend you to stay at Kunming Huayu Hotel, with a five-star recommendation index!

The hotel has a beautiful environment, is clean and sanitary, and has a good hot spring. The housekeeper Mia is very considerate. When we had some minor problems during check-in, she solved them promptly and sent us sweet soup in the evening. The check-out time limit is quite humane, and the service is quite attentive.

It takes only ten minutes to walk to Dianchi Lake to see the seagulls! The hotel also has a natural hot spring ♨️, and the hot spring water can soak away the fatigue of the day! The hotel's hot spring water is of great quality. Although it is a little far from the city center, the hotel environment is elegant, comfortable and green. I especially like the attentive service of the housekeeper Mia. She always pays attention to the needs and feedback of travelers before, during and after the stay. The welcome fruit and good night sweet soup are very attentive. In addition, the hotel breakfast has to be praised. There are many varieties and the opening hours are very reasonable. The chef is also very enthusiastic to communicate with the guests. In general, the experience is very good and worth recommending.
