The China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing is a must-visit
The China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing (Chongqing Museum) is located at No. 236 Renmin Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is a comprehensive historical and art museum featuring Bayu culture, Three Gorges culture, anti-war culture, immigrant culture, and urban culture. It was originally established as the Southwest Museum in 1951, renamed the Chongqing Museum in 1955 due to the dissolution of the Southwest Region, and approved by the General Office of the State Council in 2000 to undertake the rescue, display, and research of a large number of precious cultural relics for the Three Gorges cultural relics protection project.
Museum floor distribution:

The main building of the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing is majestic and profound. In addition to the front side maintaining a trinity with People's Square and the People's Great Hall, the rest of the building is constructed according to the terrain and integrates with the mountain, combining the height difference of the terrain with the enclosure and semi-enclosure of the building to present a garden landscape with a mountain and water theme. The gently changing volume seems to grow and be carved out of the mountain.
During the visit, the first-floor exhibition hall introducing the Three Gorges Project was under maintenance, so only the other exhibition halls were visited, which was a bit regrettable!
However, fortunately, the traditional Mawangshan style area to the south and the adjacent Chongqing People's Square and People's Great Hall, which form a 'trinity' of iconic urban buildings with it, were visited beforehand (A panoramic view of the majestic People's Square and People's Great Hall can be taken from the steps of the main entrance plaza of the Three Gorges Museum, see picture 16).

Mawangshan·Tangli is located on the Yuzhong Peninsula, with the Three Gorges Museum to its northwest and the People's Great Hall to the north. It is a typical mountain city settlement space, also known as the Mawangshan Traditional Style Area.
The name 'Mawangshan' has been in use since the Republic of China and is derived from the saddle-like shape of the land. From the 'mountain bottom' Great Hall to the 'mountain top' Mawangshan, it is only a hundred meters, but it contains a leisurely atmosphere - ancient trees reaching the sky, streets connected, filled with a sense of historical depth, and 32 historic buildings scattered throughout, making the charm of 'old Chongqing' omnipresent.
This area was once the place where famous patriotic progressives such as Shen Junru, Zou Taofen, Shi Liang, Sha Ganli, Fan Changjiang, Mao Dun, Wang Bingnan, and Wang Anna lived and were active. It was also an important venue where the Southern Bureau of the CPC, led by Zhou Enlai, met with various democratic parties and patriotic progressives to discuss national affairs.

The attractions in the morning of the holidays are queued up, and the entrance is later than expected. However, the explanation of Zhou Dao is very careful. The next time the museum is still trying to arrange the morning to avoid the impact of the previous attraction.
The subway is very convenient. At Exit 3 of Zengjiayan, you can swipe your ID card to enter by making an appointment in the public account. The more important exhibition hall is the city light and the magnificent Three Gorges. A systematic introduction to the geological structure of the Three Gorges, and the city light has a detailed introduction to Chongqing from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the liberation. I also have a lot of knowledge about Chongqing history.
I have been to the Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing before, and this time I came to take my family and children to see it. In addition to the regular exhibition, I also saw the Qing Dynasty Texue Calligraphy Special Exhibition. [View] Every floor has to have a check-in point suitable for children to watch the exhibition. very interesting. There are many cultural and creative surroundings of the museum. [Fun] After the exhibition, I also experienced the museum's cultural and creative ice cream. "At first sight" and "experienced and talented". After eating, I can also wash the ice cream stick and make bookmarks.
It is another feast of knowledge. Adults and children are still full of relish and interest. Thank you Mr. Shu for his patient and interesting explanation. I have worked hard to go to the museum, the favorite place to go to the city tour. I am fortunate to meet a good gold medal lecturer. , Rich knowledge, Bringing Chongqing history and ancient civilization to the road, the footprints of Pakistan culture are full of mystery and vicissitudes, wind bones and sadness..., a full and characterful city ~
Teacher Shu's explanation is one of the best tour guides for our tour. He has a wealth of historical knowledge, and he opened our Mao Suiton, who talked about Chongqing history and ancient civilization. His three-hour explanation made our whole family listen to it. Teacher Shu is very patient. He didn't want to miss the history of every cultural relics, and he came one by one, as if we were in the history of time and space and had a good swim. I really hope that next time we come to Chongqing, we can listen to Mr. Shu's explanation again. Sincere thanks! Thank you!
