Teapot Mountain Trail

In addition to the approachable Caoling Ancient Road, a popular spot for viewing mangosteens in the north, the Earless Teapot Mountain in Ruifang also has a very spectacular view. Climbing to the high point, the blue ocean and the white and green hillsides first come into view, the vermilion pavilions dot the prominent hilltops, and the famous sea of yin and yang shines far below. You can reach the mountain entrance from the Gold Museum or Quanjitang. The uphill and the flat road are staggered. If you are not physically fit, you may feel a little tired. On the way up, you will pass an industrial road, and there is a very wide field of vision along the road, where you can see the winding road and the Shuinan cave. The teapot mountain trail passes through Chaobao Pavilion and Baoshi Pavilion, the latter being at a higher altitude. In addition to providing rest, the two pavilions are also good viewing points. When you reach the Baoshi Pavilion, it means that the trekking is about to end. Snow-white awns stretch from the road all the way to the top of the mountain, and the earless Teapot Mountain in autumn seems to be wearing a fluffy sweater. To reach the top, you need to climb a steep slope. The distance is not long, but the slope is quite steep, make sure to wear shoes with good grip to climb. Many people will continue to Banping Mountain and Canguangliao Mountain after reaching the top of the Earless Teapot Mountain, and then connect to the Gold Museum at the back, completing an O-shaped loop route. If time and physical strength permit, it is a good route to explore Jiufen Mountain, and the hiking difficulty is not high.
