Worth checking out if in the neighborhood!
Really enjoyed this temple, there is an 800-year-old tree, a three-story the pagoda. A bunch of statues, I met some really friendly people here as well. Some Lotus, bells, not the best temple in the w...
This was our first touch with Japanese culture and we were really surprised how traditional is the local religion culture and living. Really nice place to spend there some time and see local tradition...
It is about a 5-minute walk from Tanabe Subway Station. It is the first temple of the Osaka Jusanbutsu Sacred Ground. It was a beautiful temple in a residential area, and it was easy to worship because it was neither small nor big.
I visited when visiting temples and shrines in the southern part of Osaka city. It was less than 10 minutes from Tanabe Subway Station. Currently, it is a temple of the Shingon sect, and there is a new magnificent three-storied pagoda in the precincts. Fudo Myoo is enshrined in the main hall. In addition, water-covered Fudo is also enshrined in the precincts. Although it is a temple in a residential area, it was a magnificent temple.
Depart from Minamitanabe Station on the Hanwa Line and walk around the town to Imagawa on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line. Minamitanabe Station is a residential area that is convenient for commuting, two stations from Tennoji. There is a magnificent temple with a large precinct with a three-storied pagoda called Horakuji of the Shingon sect in the immediate vicinity. It is a place that is deeply related to Tanabe yose and Jikoji yose, and Kamigata Rakugo.
