Fumei Palace

Fumei Palace is dedicated to Taifu Xiao (Wangzhi), a famous minister of the Western Han Dynasty in my country, commonly known as Grandpa Xiao and Duke White Mane. It is accompanied by the twenty-four divisions, the king of Wenwu Zun, etc. Originally a territorial protector, it gradually developed into the only "Prince's Palace" in Quanzhou. Fumei Ancient Ferry was one of the important crossings for overseas transportation in ancient Quanzhou. It is an important place connecting the mainland and the overseas trade. In the Cheqiao Village near the third year of Yongle (1405) in the Ming Dynasty, there was a "Laiyi Post" specially designed to receive foreign envoys and guests. In the Qing Dynasty, the south of the city was still the center of Quanzhou's economic, trade and financial activities.
