About 2 minutes walk from Kiba station. Founded in 1700 as Su 﨑 Benzaiten, which enshrines Benzaiten (made by Kobo Daishi), the principal image of Katsura Shoin, the mother of the fifth Shogun Tsunayoshi. It was renamed the current company name due to the separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the Meiji era. The deity is Ichikishima Himei. The torii was built in 1998. The shrine was built in 1968 and is made of reinforced concrete. The guardian dog of the cherry blossoms is in a low head and intimidating posture. I passed by when I was running in search of cherry blossoms. The collaboration between the vermilion-painted shrine and the cherry blossoms is very nice. There were no tourists, so I was able to enjoy the flowers slowly.
It is a shrine with a calm atmosphere. You can feel like walking around Edo, such as a shrine related to Tsunayoshi Tokugawa's real mother, Katsura Shoin, and a stone monument (Namimoku monument) for tsunami warnings. The number of cherry blossoms is not large, but it matches the shrine and is wonderful, so please take a walk course during the cherry blossom season.
In 1700, Benzaiten (Kobo Daishi) and Inari Sha shrine, the principal image of Katsura Shoin (the real mother of the fifth Shogun Tsunayoshi), enshrined in Mt. Koha in Edo Jo castle, were transferred to this place by the help of Takamitsu gojiin. It begins. Su 﨑 It was called Bentensha. Gojiin Takamitsu is said to have proposed the "Order of Compassion on Life" by a priest of the Shingi Shingon sect who became a daisojo after the devotion of Katsura Shoin Tsunayoshi. It is said that hachiroemon Fukatsu, the Fukagawa sea surface Tsukiji fushin bugyo (magistrate of Fukagawa sea surface), was founded by the shrine building.
Most people do not know that there was a yukaku in the present Toyo 1 chome.

It was a shrine for the prostitutes of the Yukaku to pray for marriage. The movie "Suzaki Paradise" was released a long time ago and was also filmed at this Suzaki Shrine. It may have been the guardian deity of Suzaki yukaku, where the swollen, grudge, and love and hate play were played every day.
