Wanfo Pagoda

The Wanfo Pagoda is located at the peak of Jiaoshan Mountain. It is an antique tower. Unfortunately, it is not open and cannot be accessed. In order to restore monuments and improve the pattern of the Buddha Temple, the foundation of the 10,000 pagoda was laid in May 1998 and opened in September 1999. The Wanfo Tower was designed by Tongji University, 45 meters high, 583 square meters in construction area, 42 meters high,7.8 meters in diameter of tower, 583 square meters in construction area. Reinforced concrete structure, Zhu Lan Biwa, has the style of Jiangnan Ming and Qing Dynasty. The whole tower is seven floors and eight sides, each floor has four doors, surrounded by four corridors, with two stairs inside, and the upper and lower diversions. The central pillar is dedicated to Myanmar Jade Buddha, and the alcove is dedicated to the platinum Buddha. The ceiling is painted with flying colors, and the exterior wall is decorated with the statue of the heavens. There is a palace under the tower, and there is a picture of Tang Sancai murals. The tower is equipped with red navigation lights, which can navigate the Yangtze River.

Wanfota, on the top of Jiaoshan Mountain, a small tower courtyard, inside is this ancient tower, also hundreds of years old. There are also monks in the tower courtyard. The tower is very spectacular and should be able to climb the tower, but now it is being renovated and cannot be entered. It is okay to see under the tower. The scenery on the top of the mountain is very good, and the Dinghui Temple under the mountain, or the river view in the distance, are very spectacular.
