Lake District National Park: A Hiker's Paradise@Lake District National Park
Askaska:“it was very good experience to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, around October they have beautiful illumination that we can see from around 6 pm until 10 pm. While waiting for the lights, we could even have fun in arcades.”
Dan06:“Very tall. Very nice. Very amazing. The view from the top is incredible. We went at the back end of summer so it was busy but was definitely not crowded at the top. There was loads of room to walk freely round. 10/10”
Traveller Pee:“Ohh I love the SEALIFE 😍. it was my first time going to the aquarium and I wanted to experience it as a birthday present. it was beautiful, saw some seahorses, jellyfish, different species of fish. I even touched a starfish 😄. Best experience ever to be honest. Not to forget, there were some turtles and sharks too. Tickets were also affordable, about £20 I think.”
Todemmy:“[Scenery] Central Pier has a great view! Definitely not to be missed, the boardwalk is great and you can overlook the city scenery
[Fun] Great experience, there is a paid parking lot nearby if you drive, and green travel methods such as the subway are recommended”
TheForkUser:“The staff and owners always make you feel very welcome and looked after. Special mention to the gentleman who looked after us today 8th June and he was working on his birthday . He’s a credit to the restaurant. Very attentive with a lovely manner , made the afternoon lovely. Also thank you to the owner ( lady with red hair ) she always makes time to chat and welcome everyone. Been coming for years and will continue. Excellent thank you”
TheForkUser:“The food was beautiful although the chefs were miserable this was more than made up for by the fact that our server Jacks was simply amazing she was happy, polite, and funny and her customer service skills were simply above and beyond!”
TheForkUser:“We arrived a few minutes early but it wasn’t a problem, our table was ready for us. We got our drinks promptly and ordered from the two course lunch menu. The food was excellent freshly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long. Pudding was syrup sponge and I had it with ice cream, usually this is served on the plate and melts next to the hot sponge. The Harvester serves it in a metal bucket, so it stays cold. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on our food choices, we will definitely return.”
TheForkUser:“I like this place.A note to the pastry chef...please put less biscuit base on the banana caramel slice you do. OR make the base with butter like a proper shortbread. The biscuit THIS time was too much. The last 2 times it was spot on. A spoon of creme chantilly would finish it off perfectly. It was Thursday night at 7pm...and FULL.That tells you a story on its own.The young girls on the restaurant staff team were excellent, esp ours. She read our table, looked at our faces, hence the service was excemplenary.Weldone. 👍”
TheForkUser:“My midweek visit to the River Wyre restaurant was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a real fire burning and my favourite cocktail was made to perfection. My slow cooked belly pork was delicious.”
TheForkUser:“Nice lunch, good price, nice view of the river, staff attentive and pleasant, will re-visit at some point in the future. Would recommend for sure”
TheForkUser:“We love going to the Sandpiper for its good food and good service. However, we were disappointed to see how much the prices had gone up. We will have to think again about whether we return.”
TheForkUser:“Although delicious, we both thought the food could of been hotter. We dined at the beginning of dinner. 5.30, so we thought it should been really hot.”
Todemmy:“A Mano Restaurant & Bar is in the downtown area, so it's very convenient to come here when shopping!
[Taste] The pizza is delicious, the spices are quite special, it feels like Italian style, the salad is very fresh, the olives are not liked, and the pickles are crispy
[Environment] A more casual and relaxed environment”
