Shanghai Apartments

I've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area. The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated. We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days. The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Novotel Shanghai Jing'an is my go-to choice when I'm in Shanghai for business. It's just a few minutes' walk to Zhongxing Road Station on Line 8, making it incredibly convenient for getting to meetings and connecting to transport. Check-in at the front desk was smooth and efficient. The guest rooms are spacious and bright with excellent soundproofing, and the bathroom water pressure is consistently strong. The robot delivery service for amenities is a real time-saver and hassle-free. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room are perfect for business travel essentials. The staff are all polite and courteous, making the entire stay comfortable and respectable.

I brought my mom and sister to Shanghai this time and booked this two-bedroom apartment at Wanda Pudong. The moment we stepped in, I knew we made the right choice. The warm lighting wasn't like a cold, impersonal hotel. The host had placed a bouquet of dried flowers on the coffee table, and there was a floor lamp by the window. When we turned it on in the evening, the whole room was filled with a soft, orange glow. Outside the window, Nanjing Road was bustling with lights. The three of us snuggled on the sofa, watching the flow of people and cars below. My sister said it felt like we were in a movie. The two bedrooms were on opposite sides, ensuring complete privacy. My mom usually goes to bed early, so my sister and I could chat quietly and have a late-night snack without worrying about disturbing her. The bedding was very soft and comfortable. My mom woke up saying the pillow height was just right and she slept wonderfully. My sister's room even had a small desk, where she leaned over to write postcards to her friends in the evening. Though the kitchen wasn't large, it had all the pots and pans we needed. In the morning, we went downstairs to the supermarket, bought some vegetables and eggs, and cooked three bowls of clear noodle soup. We enjoyed them slowly at the dining table with the pan-fried buns we'd packed the night before. My mom said it felt just like home, not like the rushed feeling of staying in a hotel. The washing machine with a dryer function was incredibly convenient. We could wash our clothes and dry them immediately, ready to wear the next day. Plus, the subway station is right downstairs. This kind of cozy apartment is so much more comfortable than staying in two separate hotel rooms. The next time my whole family comes to Shanghai, we'll definitely stay here again.

This stay exceeded my expectations. First, the front desk staff upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite, which was well-designed with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Second, the complimentary breakfast was McDonald's, and they even delivered it to my room at my preferred time. Additionally, parking was very convenient, the housekeeping was good, the room was quiet, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

Our stay at WENDING Serviced Apartment was absolutely wonderful. I stayed here with my family, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The location is a major highlight—conveniently close to the subway, making getting around the city incredibly easy, and with shopping malls just a short walk away. This was our second time staying here, and it’s truly the perfect choice for anyone visiting Shanghai for more than a week. The serviced apartment offers all the comforts of home, with the added bonus of a 24-hour butler service that makes everything effortless. The rooms are warm and cozy—the heating works exceptionally well—which made our stay especially comfortable during the cooler days. We’ll definitely choose WENDING again on our next trip!

Convenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.

The lighting was great, and I could see the 'three essentials' (referring to the three-piece suite/bathroom amenities). The hotel overall exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and free of any odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service was gentle and thoughtful. The location is convenient with easy access to transportation. It offers great value for money and is my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll definitely stay here again!

Nice staff and location. Building built in 2009. A bit older. Needs renovation. Apartment smells of sewage most of the time. Bed was uncomfortable. Sheets were making me itchy, but it happens sometimes as my skin is sensitive. Washer dirty, so didn't use.

The location is very convenient, with the parking garage directly connected to the subway station. Parking is also very convenient, and free parking is a big plus. This is my second long stay, and I especially want to thank Manager Tracy at the front desk. She's incredibly nice and attentive, always considering guests' needs to arrange suitable rooms. Also, since delivery personnel put packages on shelves on the first floor, I often see Tracy diligently organizing them so guests can find them quickly. It's no exaggeration to say that when Tracy is there, the shelves are always perfectly tidy. A very pleasant stay experience.

The location is close to the metro, and the owner is very helpful and friendly. The room is large, a studio apartment with a small kitchenette and a washing machine. If you're looking for simple, independent accommodation, this is the place to stay. A few small renovations would improve its value.
