AAna TetleyStayed for the planned one night and was pleased by the staff’s ability to converse in English to sort out a check-in issue. Room was spacious and clean, with smart toilet. Comfortable bed although the room felt a little hot. Nice not to have carpets on the floor too!

__WeChat8345****The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which makes catching the high-speed train or visiting city attractions super easy. There are plenty of malls, convenience stores, and various restaurants nearby, so you don't have to go out of your way for shopping or dining. It's perfect for both business trips and short getaways. The fact that it's located in a quiet spot despite being in the bustling city is a huge plus. After a busy day navigating the city, you can return to the hotel and escape the noise, enjoying a peaceful and restful time. The cleanliness and hygiene really instill a sense of security – germophobes will be thrilled! You can walk barefoot on the floor all day without encountering a speck of dust, and even the corners are spotlessly clean. The bedding is pristine white and soft, with a fresh, sun-kissed scent when you get close. Towels are strictly changed, disinfected, and sealed in bags for each new guest, only to be opened upon check-in. Even the inside of the electric kettle is free of limescale, showing meticulous attention to detail. The bathroom sink sparkles, and the smart toilet is a pleasure to use. The thorough disinfection work ensures a very reassuring stay.

XXiaojunpocheOverall, my stay was quite good. On the day I checked in, my ring mysteriously disappeared. After searching for a long time with no luck, I called Niki from customer service to help me look, wondering if it had fallen into some crevice I didn't know about. We finally found it inside the pillowcase—it must have slipped through a small tear in the fabric. I never thought to look there since I hadn't opened it. I really appreciate Niki helping me search for so long. The hotel might be a bit older, as some facilities had issues. I communicated with Max, and he ran back and forth multiple times to resolve the problems. While the hotel's hardware might be fixed, good service often makes all the difference, and this return visit was definitely a good experience thanks to the staff. On a side note, I have a small suggestion: for the area near the front desk that seems like an executive lounge for afternoon tea, when guests enter, please don't be so rigid and tell them they need to go sit on the sofa outside in the lobby because it's closing. It would be more acceptable to explain that it's a paid service or requires consumption to enter. I was with elderly family members, and older generations are used to being frugal; we often don't tell them how much things cost when we travel together. The communication style was a bit awkward and uncomfortable.

Oonlyred0925This year, we decided to book our New Year's Eve dinner at the Radisson, and to save ourselves the hassle of traveling back and forth, we decided to stay there as well. JUDY called me a day in advance to ask about my room preferences, which eased my anxiety and built up my anticipation for the stay. We booked a Deluxe Suite, facing south towards People's Park, offering a really great view. The room was very tidy, with a living room and bedroom, and a standard double bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, but no bidet. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clear that the room facilities are very well-maintained. The shower brand is Radisson's own, and it worked quite well. Room service is also worth mentioning; their response time was very quick, and they offered turndown service. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The hotel's location is excellent. You don't even need to go outside to access New World City directly, making shopping and dining very convenient. We had lunch on the 8th and 9th floors of New World City for the past few days. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is right outside. On New Year's Eve, we went to Nanjing Road and the Bund, experiencing Shanghai's New Year's atmosphere up close, which was a rare treat. The breakfast was very plentiful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite crystal cakes. The lack of free parking was a bit unexpected. While it might be due to the location, other hotels I've stayed at recently, like the Conrad and Peace Hotel, also have excellent locations but offer free parking. However, the parking garage entrance is very narrow, and the turns are quite tight, which could be challenging for less-skilled drivers. So, it's probably best not to drive if you can avoid it. This was my first stay at a Radisson Group hotel, and it left a very positive impression on me.

GGuest UserOur stay at Banyan Tree Shanghai was truly exceptional from start to finish. We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary there, and the team made it incredibly special for us. They thoughtfully decorated our room and surprised us with cakes and fruits as a kind gesture. We truly appreciated the effort — it made our celebration even more memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. We especially loved the in-room mini pool — the highlight of our stay was simply relaxing and enjoying a bath while taking in the view. Tales Rooftop Bar was another standout experience. It’s the perfect place to appreciate the stunning city and river views while enjoying drinks. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary snacks as well. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. Aside from the buffet selection, guests can also order freshly prepared dishes like noodles and eggs, which are served hot — a wonderful touch. The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel valued and were always ready to assist with a warm smile. The overall ambiance of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat despite being in a vibrant city like Shanghai. We highly recommend Banyan Tree Shanghai and look forward to returning in the future.

GGuest UserMy stay this time was absolutely wonderful. The service was warm and attentive, and the room was clean, hygienic, spacious, and bright. After dark, the river view outside the window and the Bund's historic architecture, illuminated by lights, seemed to whisper tales of bygone eras. Meanwhile, across the river, Pudong's vibrant modern buildings, enhanced by the New Year's light show, appeared exceptionally spirited and dynamic. The beauty of the Huangpu River, where past and present coexist, was fully visible from my room. Sitting by the window, quietly taking it all in, was an indescribable pleasure.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip and overall had a smooth experience. The price is very reasonable, and the hotel itself is fairly ok. They also gave me an upgrade when I checked in, but I can’t say how that room was different to the one that I booked. The rooms and breakfast were both okay — nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine for a short stay. One of the highlights is the convenient location, with many dinner options nearby, which was great for our needs. I appreciated the welcome cookie, although it was quite hard and crumbly — a nice gesture, but not very tasty. One small inconvenience was that I couldn’t get a Chinese invoice (fapiao) directly at the hotel; instead, they told me to request it through the booking app, which I found a bit unusual. Despite these minor issues, it was an easy and pleasant stay. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel in this area at this price point.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Andaz Hotel with my parents during the Chinese New Year holiday. Although the decor is a bit dated due to the hotel's age, the meticulous upkeep and cleaning still made for a very pleasant stay. I absolutely loved the full set of Byredo's Eleventh Hour toiletries provided in the room – they're unique, not overly common, and show great taste! The only minor drawback was that the smart control buttons in the room were a bit old and not very responsive, making it slightly less convenient than when I stayed a few years ago. Also, the TV is old, and watching the Spring Festival Gala and Winter Olympics felt a bit anachronistic, I hope they can improve this in the future! All the hotel staff (including the front desk, restaurant, room service, housekeeping, security, concierge, etc.) were very dedicated and had excellent service attitudes, promptly responding to any requests. I especially want to commend the staff who cleaned room 2505 on 2/18 during check-out; they found a piece of jewelry that my elderly parent had lost, and my parent specifically asked me to give them a good review and thanks! On the morning of the second day of Chinese New Year, there was also a lion dance performance that toured the restaurant and took photos with guests. Overall, this was a great stay, and I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.

AAmeixianshengThe location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The staff honestly told us that the Oriental Pearl TV Tower view was partially obstructed, but it was still stunning. They even provided disposable bath liners and milk bath packets for the bathtub. Xiao Wu was incredibly helpful, always answering our questions promptly and efficiently. A big thank you to Xiao Wu! The only minor issue was the front desk male staff member's insincere expression when we checked in at 6 PM on January 12th, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the front desk staff who checked us in late at night were very friendly despite the late hour. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent! The hotel definitely has some age, but the TV was smart, and the breakfast was refreshing and cozy. All in all, a good experience!
