From the moment I arrived, I felt like a true VIP—thanks to the warm and professional service from every team member, including reception, housekeeping, and security. This hotel's prime location makes it an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The seamless connection to Pakuwon Shopping Mall provided a fantastic shopping experience, adding to the convenience of my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and comfort, allowing me to enjoy a restful sleep throughout my two-night stay. The hotel’s facilities, including the well-equipped gym and the refreshing swimming pool, were impressive and well-maintained. A standout highlight was the remarkable Asian cuisine offered at the hotel. The flavors were authentic and diverse, and an expanded selection of 10 to 15 types of sambal would elevate the experience even further. One of the most memorable touches was the fulfillment of my special request for welcome fruits, which truly made me feel valued as a guest. Overall, I wholeheartedly give this hotel a well-deserved five-star rating and look forward to returning for another exceptional experience.

Fantastic! The staff were excellent, the facilities were top-notch, and the location is superb. It's conveniently located right next to a shopping mall and a Haidilao hot pot restaurant. This Ascott is truly outstanding; it felt just like home.

Batu has been one of my favorite destinations in Indonesia and this is mainly thanks to this hotel. The place was magnificent, the breakfast incredible but more than that all the staff were super nice and welcoming the servers, the cooks, the security, the room staff and the reception staff!!! I originally booked one of the renovated rooms and there is a bit of fiasco in the first day when I came back to the room it just reeked of raw sewage, almost like a pipe it exploded, and I immediately called housekeeping who sprayed but said that they would move me to a different suite which is the one in the photos. This is one of the more expensive suites and it’s basic and similar in comparison to the renovated suite. However, renovated suite looks like it was renovated back in 1990s as the other suite was much nicer and more modern Overall, the service was fantastic. The food in the breakfast was delicious. The pool is nice. I’ll be at a little quiet and overall it’s a great location if you wanna go out to different sites or if you just wanna cruise the mall or do some quick shopping 

Staying at Shangri-La Surabaya was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was warm and professional — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished with a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. I especially appreciated the plush bedding and thoughtful amenities. The view from the room was also a plus, offering a peaceful cityscape that felt relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was a highlight — the variety was impressive, from local Indonesian favorites to Western and Asian dishes. The pool area and lush garden surroundings made it easy to forget you were in the middle of a busy city. Location-wise, it's conveniently close to malls, restaurants, and main roads, yet the hotel itself feels like a serene escape. Would definitely recommend Shangri-La Surabaya to anyone looking for a five-star experience with genuine hospitality.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was spacious and well maintained event this isn't brand new building. My initial booking was for 1 night only but after I spent the first night I decided to extend another day with request another room that facing to Jalan Basuki Rahmat. Ms. Fara was helped to find my request and she asking Mr. Reva to showing me some room. They were very nice, friendly and informative. Also I thank Mr. Komarus- the room attendant who really friendlt and well in clean my room, he help to explain the function of AC which is I got confused. Then the security - Mr. Haryono also nice and informative when I asks about surrounding interesting places to visit and eat. For Room Service : I ordered Fried Gurame and Pizza , All was good. The area to improve : 1. Level of hot water need to be better 2. The noisy from AC need to be fix Other than that all experiences went extraordinary stay ! Thanks Wyndham Surayabaya, absolutely ,I will be back !

love everything about this hotel! breakfast was quite good with many selections, service was excellent, next to a mall and room was one of the best in surabaya so far! this hotel is considered quite old but they still managed to keep everything like new and clean. def recommend and will be back ❤️

Had a good times. The staff from the doorman, receptionist, F&B are all the BEST TEAM! Oreo, Tia ,Rozzaq to name a few and many more names which I cant recall ( an old lady - forgot to jotted down their name🤭) . They are friendly, helpful, courteous and their smiles are very contagious 😁. Keep up the good work, guys!

Everything about the hotel is exemplary except the toiletries ! Fragrance is not acceptable and I dreaded shower. Hotel has a 360 degree and you can see whole of Surabaya! Spectacular. A big mall, catering to big brands and international Tuntungan plaza is around 20 mins walk. Another big mall, local BG Junction is around 10 mins away. Location is good ! Including eateries nearby. Breakfast was the best I've experienced; amazing spread including local flavors. Absolutely tantalizing.

We recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at Baobab Safari Hotel for a family vacation, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The highlight for us was definitely the room with a balcony overlooking the animals. Our child was absolutely thrilled watching wildlife right outside our window, which made the stay truly magical. It’s rare to find a hotel where you can relax and enjoy such an immersive nature experience all at once. Breakfast every morning was a treat, with a fantastic spread that had something for everyone. The variety and quality really impressed us and gave us great energy for the day’s adventures. Overall, Baobab Safari Hotel exceeded our expectations and we’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a unique and memorable vacation!
