I stayed for two nights at this property and I had a very good time. The location of the hotel is excellent, a stone's throw from the sea and close to all amenities (shops, restaurants, etc.). The room was very clean and quiet. Every day there were two free bottles of water in the minibar. The kettle and tea/coffee bags available in the room were very welcome. The staff were very friendly and had a smile on their faces. If I ever find myself in the area in the future, I will evaluate this property again.
Some doubts upon arrival, followed by some other doubts again with the outgoing reception (absence of useful information for simple, perhaps trivial curiosities, but that's it; absence of personnel in charge of baggage at the entrance of the cars; singular explanations which naturally led to use their parking at a cost 5 times higher than what is available…).
The room is adequate, although the large information book contains accessibility to Sky (precisely from channel 401 onwards), which does not exist/cannot be reached.
Compliments to the staff of the rooms, maintenance, swimming pool and breakfast in the morning.
Finally, some doubts about the restaurant and, in particular, about the responses from those in charge of the wines.
Thanks to Trip.com the stay cost an extremely interesting sum and, therefore, the opinion, at this price, is very interesting for a hotel, a national monument, like this one.
We had a comfortable time at this hotel. Located just down the road from the station about a 2-3minute walk away, it was very convenient to get to coming into Parma by train. The area surrounding the hotel however felt just a little bit questionable at times, but then again the historic town centre is but a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was sufficient to fill you up to start the day, and service there was quite attentive. We didn’t get to try the other facilities, though, since we thought the pool would be closed considering it was winter. Overall, we had a nice stay at Novotel, and would definitely stay again.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good service and nice breakfast. Convenient location, only about 15-minute walk from both the train station and the beach. The only niggle was little noise from the room next door, but not a big problem. For the price, I was satisfied and would still consider staying here on my next visit.
Hotel located very well compared to the Ferrari museums, you can reach the Maranello Museum in a few minutes to the provincial Modena.
The hotel is very comfortable, clean and with very comfortable beds. The whole structure recalls the Ferrari history in all details and I absolutely advise the fans. Michael Schumacker's F310B at the reception is the chilli on the cake.
There are hotels lined up along the beach, and it only takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach.
The night market downstairs is very lively and there are many restaurants and fruit shops, which is very convenient.
During the Champions League final on the weekend, it was very lively with young people watching the game on the beach. There was also a party after the end, which was suitable for people with nightlife.
The room is small and clean. There is a small balcony with sea view.
It is very convenient to go swimming at the beach from the hotel. The hotel has a good breakfast. It only takes 17 minutes to walk to the train station. There is no door or shower curtain in the shower area of the hotel. It's okay to use an overhead shower, but you have to be careful not to let the water flow out of the shower area when using a hand-held shower.
The hotel is locatedb in a quite place out of bologna. The room was clean, the pool was good and the breakfast was nice. The only problem was that in 3 night the housekeeping didn't recharge our miny bar, suop and body gel.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We received free breakfast. The hotel's location was good. The only thing that could use some updating was the shower. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel.
Very Good

Amazing
GGuest UserI recently stayed at a hotel in Bologna and had a very positive experience. The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the city or attending business meetings. The rooms are well-designed, clean, and comfortable, though they could have been a touch warmer for my preference.
The staff was professional, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added to the overall experience. It’s an ideal choice for a business trip or a short leisure stay of 2-3 days in the region. I’d highly recommend it for anyone seeking a balance of comfort, convenience, and professionalism!
GGuest UserThe hostel provides you with the bare necessities, such as a comfortable bed, a spacious room and locker including a lock, and a small bedlight and socket.
Unfortunately, that is also literally it and nothing more. There are no curtains for the beds. The bathroom is super weirdly laid out; there is a bathroom with shower, the only toilet and a sink behind a door; then in front of that, there is another sink and a shower. WITH NO DOOR. Making this shower literally unusable. There are two light switches in the bathroom, one that turns on the light in the back bathroom (behind the door) AND a light for the front sink. This means that, if people are sleeping in the bed next to the bathroom, there is literally light shining directly on their face and all the sounds. A problem easily solved by adding a door and curtains on the beds.
The bathrooms didn’t have hand soap (they were empty) or any shower amenities (no shower gel). You have to pay if you want a towel, and you also have to make your own bed.
There is also a lot of noise from the neighbours, what seems like a student accommodation.
At this kind of price range, the level of amenities is terribly disappointing and could be easily solved. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and sadly this one was just one of two options in Bologna, so not much choice. There are really a lot of simple improvements possible that would have made it worth it, but I really cannot say this is value for money at all.
GGuest UserThis place is absolutely excellent. It caters for all ages and I will certainly consider using again as a workspace also. The Social Hub is a great concept that will mostly appeal to a younger crowd although all are most definitely welcome.
The rooms are excellent, thoughtful and have everything you need. The staff are all excellent. Location wise this is perfect for access to Bologna Centrale Station. As many travellers will know Railway Stations anywhere in the world are not always located in the safest parts of a city. Although nothing happened and I did not necessarily feel threatened I was very cautious as I was travelling alone with my teenage daughter so also need to consider her safety.
JJoseph_HJJLocation of the hotel was the highlight, it was literally opposite the train station. There were shops and supermart nearby the hotel as well so it was convinient. The room was good and clean, with the view facing the courtyard. Breakfast was good too with a nice selection of food and drinks. Only downside is that it was a 15-20 mins walk from the city center but we enjoyed the walk from the hotel to there. Overall a very nice stay and place in Bologna!
AAnonymous UserStaff was very helpful but Toilet was not clean, looks like someone used it after cleaning.had to call the service to clean. There were also some shoeprints on the wall.
XXiaoaotianyaThe description is true, the public area on the first floor is exquisitely warm, all functional areas are reasonably divided, the room is clean and tidy, the morning sun is full of rooms, and the shower room is especially easy to use! The buffet breakfast food and drinks are complete, the quality is good, and it is convenient to use! English communication is convenient, I have seen people around the world, there are rich activities at night, if you want to be quiet, the front desk has free earplugs, the details are very intimate
Oh, this is a hotel I have encountered in Italy with a complete elevator. From the door, I can drag the box directly into the lobby and then into the elevator. Unlike many hotels, I need to walk a few steps before entering the elevator. For us with large suitcases, this is too convenient!
There are many supermarkets around, the nearest aldi is less than 100 meters, there is a conad not far away, you can eat in the supermarket, there are microwave ovens and other equipment. Most of the hotel rooms are Italian sockets, there are many, there is a European socket, personally feel enough.
GGuest UserThe location although 7 km from the city center that seems near it is not! You have to walk 15-20 min to the nearest bus station and then there are only 2 buses running every hour to reach city center. If you miss the first one then you have to wait another 25 minutes for the second one!
If you are planning your trip on foot avoid this one. If you rent a car there is a parking lot outside in the courtyard of the hotel and several more just outside the hotel on the street. Both parking spots are in the open. Hotel offers a closed parking spot in its basement but on pay.
We had to change room the next day of our arrival as there was a noise coming out of the ventilation system. A supervisor came to inspect the room and after verifying our sayings offered us a room 2 floor down.
During our stay one of the three lift was out of order and it was a nightmare to come down in the morning during peak hours. All three days we were getting to lobby by stairs.
AAlfYYIt is a very well-located hotel, right in the ”heart” of Modena. It's in the ZTL zone, not to worry, the staff were very vigilant & assisted with the ZTL coupon which was valid for the stay.
The hotel is a bit ”old”, so don't expect much, however, the rooms are nicely furnished. Mattresses are firm to my liking and there is enough toiletries. Breakfast was sumptuous! A delicious spread & of high quality.
Note as the hotel is a bit old, don't expect top grade elevators - they are narrow, and the rooms a bit ”hollow”. Opens up to the balcony with excellent ”minor” view of the basilica. However, sound travels and you can hear the next door neighbour if they speak loudly or slam the door.
Parking, however, is a nightmare, as expected of this very narrow town. No fault of the hotel itself. You can find parking nearby, may have to walk 5-6 mins. The excellent English speaking Reception/Check In Staff will assist with that & all my questions were answered.
GGuest UserA hotel caters for conferences and business meetings. Very spacious common area with plenty of comfortable seating and lovely outdoors area in the middle of the hotel. The room and bathroom are spacious and modern. The downside is the toiletries, the shampoo, body wash and body lotion smelt off. Luckily I brought my own because the fragrance of their complimentary toiletries was unacceptable.
The buffet breakfast was decent and plentiful with the hot foods and pastry section. The standouts were the fresh croissants, bacon and the coffee from the self-service machine was just like the bar. The fresh fruits were tasteless but I loved the dried nuts selection.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The gym also had a variety of professional equipment. I would definitely return and recommend to other travellers but bring your own toiletries.
GGuest UserLocation is very near to the bologna centrale station ~ 5 mins away. Good especially if you’re lugging a lot of luggages but quite a walk away from the main piazza shopping area ~ took us around 15-20 mins.
Room provides 3in1 cappucino and milk creamer! Not all hotels provide these. There are English Tv channels. There is pillow menu even! Room is clean, kettle is cleaned sparkly too.
Toilet light went faulty during our stay; flickering. We called reception to inform and she was supposed to call us back to let us know if their technician was still around at work to come and fix it or not but she may have forgotten to return us back the call. Checking out the next day so we didn’t bother but for guests staying longer you may have to call back reception to check….
