I stayed in a moderate single room. It was beautifully renovated and very cute. It was directly connected to the station, so it was very convenient to be able to buy various souvenirs in the station building.
This was my second stay, and the autumn scenery is even more beautiful than in summer! The hotel's environment, service, and food are all excellent. We stayed two nights, and the dinners were different. The second night's dinner was so lavish, I couldn't finish it all even though I was stuffed. The breakfast buffet was also superb. The hotel staff are all very friendly and can help you call a taxi. The hotel has many hot springs, and the water quality is excellent. The only pity is that the semi-open-air hot spring now has glass windows installed, so you can't properly enjoy the autumn scenery outside, and it feels a bit stuffy. The mixed-gender bath has the most beautiful views, and from 8 PM to 9 PM, it's reserved for ladies. It would be perfect if they could also arrange an hour for ladies during the daytime, as the daytime scenery is even better, and ladies might feel more comfortable in a mixed-gender bath during those hours. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again if I get the chance.
Very good hotel, just take a bus or taxi from the station, 20 minutes walk, close to attractions and busy streets, suitable for visiting Morioka Castle, the price is also very cheap
Stunning location! Walked into the lobby and was floored by panoramic views of the cape.
The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious.
Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!
Like:
The big bath is very comfortable, and I took the child to soak twice.
2. Convenient parking, suitable for self-driving.
3. The service staff is kind and polite.
Not like:
1. If you don't smoke, remember to book a non-smoking room. I didn't notice when I booked (I was too a soldier). I booked a smoking room. The smell of smoke in the room was very heavy. It was my most regrettable place.
Satisfaction is 90 points.
We had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences.
1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones
2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items
3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover!
I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.
The view of Mt. Iwate and Lake Goshoko from the lobby is spectacular. If you're staying overnight, definitely stay on the lake side on a high floor. My family loved the food, especially the steak and sweets, as well as the hot spring bath. Since we visited during New Year's, there was a shrine set up in one of the rooms, so my mother, who has trouble walking, was able to enjoy her first shrine visit of the year and get her fortune. I felt it was a comfortable hotel with unassuming hospitality.
We really enjoyed our stay, particularly the beautiful view from our room. The food was outstanding, and the staff were very accommodating. The only drawbacks were the absence of a washlet in the bathroom and the inconsistent internet connection in the room.
I loved my stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely incredible, the room was very spacious with a western style room attached to an 8 tatami tea room, and floor to ceiling windows highlighting the snowy exterior. The onsen with indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic, and most people staying at the hotel wore yukata which gave the whole experience a tranquil vibe. The bus from Morioka goes directly to the hotel. It was a perfect traditional Japanese hotel.
The most comfortable and best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Northeast Japan. Both the hardware facilities and the service staff were excellent. I especially praised a Chinese brother wearing glasses who was very kind and attentive. He could communicate in both Chinese and English. I hope I can come to Appi Plateau to see the snow again in winter if I have the chance~

YYoshimasaIn the natural environment surrounded by mountains and forests, the clear stream behind the inn flows gurgling, healing the body and mind.
It is fun to enjoy each of the four hot springs that flow directly from the source, but we especially recommend the deepest hot spring in Japan.
This is a self-propelled natural rock bath ”Shirasaru no Yu”. This is a very rare hot spring. Due to its depth, you can stand up to enter, but it is evenly distributed throughout your body.
It is said that applying hot water pressure can effectively promote blood circulation. The hall also has a nostalgic atmosphere, as if traveling to the past.
The hospitality of the staff is also very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay in Hanamaki, it is a hotel worth staying in.

KKyliesungIt was my first time staying in a Japanese hot spring hotel and I had dinner in my room. There are many kinds of food, the rice at the end is special but I can't eat it anymore, the hot spring has indoor and outdoor. It's big, has a great view and a sauna. There are many styles of shower gel and shampoo to choose from. The breakfast was also great. The room is big and the view outside the window is beautiful. There is also a massage chair to relax your back.

KKennedy TownThe hotel is about half an hour ride from Ryusendo Cave (龍泉洞) and is close to the Sanriku Coast. Judging from photos, it’s probably better than other hotels nearby in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It doesn’t disappoint me. The public bath (大浴場) is good. The view over the coast is perfect.
