There are so many great things to say, but let's start with the location – it's absolutely fantastic! A true oasis of calm amidst the city's hustle and bustle. You're just a 5-minute walk from Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street, Shuita Snack Street, and Baocheng Road Night Market. Plus, grab a shared bike, and you can reach Shanhaiguan Road for some local breakfast in about ten minutes. Even if you're exhausted, the hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, offering excellent value for money. The lobby also provides thoughtful refreshment kits, with sweet and refreshing lemon water. You can also pick up bottled water anytime you pass the elevator area. These small gestures and details really warmed our hearts, especially after a long day of travel. What's more, the service is wonderfully friendly and discreet. The staff are always available but never intrusive. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wuhan. Nice!

Service: Due to our reasons, the reservation was wrong, and the front desk helped us change the room. Thank you very much to the front desk lady! Later, my glasses fell off while eating breakfast, and the front desk also helped us put them away. Thank you. Room: The room was clean and tidy without any odor. There was a Gree air purifier and two snacks were given. Hot spring: It was too hot during the day, so we swam and played for a while before taking a hot spring bath. It was very comfortable. Breakfast: As shown in the picture, there are many varieties of breakfast and it is delicious.

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

I was very pleased with the room. The service was attentive and helpful. The room was quiet, clean, and tidy. I was particularly pleased with the bed, which provided a comfortable sleep. I booked last minute and it's my second stay here. I chose it because of the location, staff, and room. It's conveniently located in front of a bus stop and a 10 min walk to Zhuyeshan metro station. There's a little convenience store on the first floor to get snacks and drinks. There are food and fruit markets in an alley around the corner. There's a pedestrian bridge so I don't have to cross the road. There's bubble tea, Starbucks, luckin coffee and burger king across the street as well. The staff are always busy but always willing to help. I used a translator app mostly to communicate and they were very patient and helpful. The housekeeping staff /aunties are great and will smile if you smile and be friendly first. The morning breakfast is on the heavy side for me but full of variety and delicious. If you're able to, reserve the room with the breakfast included, I found the value was excellent. I especially liked the lady who prepares the noodle soups. I stayed in a larger queen deluxe room this time and thought it was great! I had a better view of the gas station across the street. The regular room was awesome too. I didn't hear street noise but there were times in the evening when I could hear other guest's noise. It didn't bother me, and I suppose it depends on who comes and enjoys the hotel. Another amazing part of the hotel is it offers free laundry and there are dryers. I think they offer a free laundry service too but I didn't mind doing my own. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would come again to stay. Wuhan was an amazing experience and this hotel was part of it. Xièxiè.

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you!
The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao!
The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great!
Recommend this hotel!

The service was excellent; they were very responsive to all requests and had a great attitude. Food deliveries could even be brought up to the room.
The location is quite convenient, just a short walk from Exit A1 of Qushuilou subway station.
The high-floor experience was great, and the elevators were fast, so there wasn't much waiting. However, you do need to take two elevators to reach your room.
The environment was also very clean, and the smart-controlled furniture and facilities were very convenient.
I do have a few suggestions for facility improvements: it would be great to add another chair by the window, as having only one is quite inconvenient. While the bathroom sink area is well-separated from the shower, the shower itself lacks hooks or any other place to put clothes. This meant I had to leave the door open while showering, which largely defeated the purpose of the wet/dry separation.
I've already recommended this place to friends, and I'll definitely consider it first on my next trip to Wuhan. I hope they continue to maintain their standards and even improve further!
This hotel is called a ”gentle harbor” during the trip.
The moment I opened the door, the fresh fragrance mixed with the smell of sunshine came, and the bedding was flat as if it had been carefully ironed. The moment I was trapped, the fatigue seemed to be gently held. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the street view into flowing pictures, drinking hot drinks from the room in the morning, watching the morning light over the window sill, there is a kind of ”stealing half-day leisure” cozy.
The service is even warmer. The front desk lady smiled when checking in and patiently answered a bunch of trivial questions. I wanted to drink a cup of warm water late at night. The phone just hung up. The waiter carried the kettle and lightly swiped the door. The footsteps were as light as fear of disturbing the dream. See the real chapter in the details: the non-slip mat in the bathroom, the USB charging port at the bedside, and even the slippers are warm, like they have been baked in advance, and every place is properly treated with ”serious treatment”.
When I left the store, I looked back and suddenly understood why someone said ”good hotel, itself is the scenery”. It is not only a place to rest, but also like a temporary home, let people come with a relaxed body, walk with a warm heart, next time you come to this city, you must choose here.

GGuest UserIt was my first time to visit Wudang Mountain. I found this restaurant on the street. It was very low-key and reserved. I walked in to visit and it suddenly opened my eyes. I checked out of the hotel yesterday and moved in. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was good in many ways. It’s hard to describe. The biggest surprise was the breakfast. The private chef had a wide variety of wontons, stewed noodles, dumplings, glutinous rice balls, sweet wine eggs, etc. It was very friendly to me, who is used to getting up late. I arrived at the restaurant after breakfast time and the housekeeper had already collected the food. Because I smiled and asked the housekeeper to help me, the private chef did his best to feed me. A happy day begins.
The biggest surprise was meeting a very good travel companion in the hotel. When we visited Nanyan Palace, the guest named Ziyin who we met by chance explained to us the cultural origins of Nanyan Palace and its surrounding areas in a very professional manner. What a surprise. Later I learned that this guest was a frequent visitor of Ziyin and the wife of a professor at a university in Shiyan. There are no mortals on the fairy mountain, but you can meet immortals in Ziyin Hall.

GGuest UserMaybe I started to pay attention to Dongcheng's hotels from now on. This is the hotel I stayed in. I felt that the layout was very reasonable. Watching TV, working and eating are arranged separately. The hotel laundry, gym and restaurant are well-equipped and the food is not perfunctory. The best thing is that the location is very convenient, close to the pier and backed by the pedestrian street. The service is also obviously well-trained. On the night of the 24th, I was extremely tired because of the long delay. The front desk receptionist was very considerate and arranged a comfortable room for rest.
RR.ruiAs a loyal customer of Wharf Group, I can confidently say that all their hotels are consistently excellent! This Marco Polo hotel is conveniently located near the city center, offering great transport links and an abundance of dining and shopping options, all just a few minutes away by taxi, subway, or on foot. The views are absolutely stunning, especially the unique 270-degree river view – I absolutely loved it! The front desk staff were warm and professional; check-in and check-out were efficient, and they even proactively upgraded my room. Room service was also incredibly prompt!

Date of Stay:** March 16-22, 2025
Overview:**
Somerset is a charming establishment situated in a bustling commercial and residential district, conveniently located above a mall filled with shops and restaurants. With subway access just at the basement, it’s an ideal destination for both business travelers and vacationers looking to explore the area. Our recent stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a fantastic night city view was enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall experience.
Check-In Experience:**
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and complimentary drinks, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. They provided detailed information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions.
Room Quality:**
Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning night view of the city skyline. The modern decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen area was well-equipped, with coffee machine, washer and dryer, making it easy during our stay.
Amenities:**
The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna and jacuzzi. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, with Wuhan noodles made to order.
Location:**
Located above a vibrant mall, Somerset Hotel provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. The subway exit in the basement makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. While the highway is nearby, the hotel maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day.
Service:**
Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.
Conclusion:**
Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

SShiwenHotel location is good, in the city, not far from the rice park. Newly renovated hotel, the lobby has a faint taste after decoration, there is a smell of charcoal bag in the room, but there is no smell in the room.
The hotel room is not small, basically the same as the photo on the booking platform. I like the tea table in the hotel, and there are two people with small tea sets, which is very casual and convenient. The hotel is very intelligent. The lighting, curtains, TV, toilet, etc. in the room are all intelligent. It is really good, but you need to learn to adapt. The hotel is not hygienic. Because it is a new hotel, the bedding is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the shower water flow is even and comfortable.
The hotel is a member store of the Huazhu Club. Payment of membership fees for breakfast is effective, but it always feels uncomfortable and a bit mandatory. The service is very good, the waiter is very active, introducing places to eat and drink, not bad. Especially after I checked out, I left my strings in the room. They found them in time when they cleaned up the house, contacted me and properly stored the items. Like them for this spirit of picking up gold.
LLove ShrewsburyWow what can i say. This hotel is magnificent. As soon as you pull up to the Silu Tiansi Hotel you could see that it was going to be a good experience. Your luggage is collected outside whilst you check in at the beautiful reception. The staff were wonderful, especially one lady who was always smiling and very very helpful. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. We were given our room key and our luggage was taken to our room by a very polite gentleman. From the reception area to the rooms, this hotel is very clean, contemporary and remarkable. The room was also beautifully decorated and included a free mini bar. The shower is one of the most powerful showers I have ever used. They also have Dyson hairdryers which was a first. So my wife was happy. Our room included breakfast, but unfortunately due to our early flight we couldn't try it. But what we didn't know when booking, between 3 and 5 there was a buffet style snack area with drinks which was also included in the price. It was really nice after our long journey to have this included. The dining area was also very clean and contemporary. There is a restaurant on the hotel grounds which was fantastic. We ordered 5 dishes for 2 people thinking it would be small portions. They were 5 huge plates which were so delicious. We did finish them though after an hour of eating lol. After having a great night's sleep on the immaculately clean sheets we had to catch our flight at 5 am. Also included with this hotel is VIP transfers to the airport in a comfortable Mercedes people carrier. This would normally cost 70 yuan in a taxi.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world. In London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Spain and many other countries. I have to say this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in for value. It was 399 yuan for everything I have said above, which is amazing. If you need a hotel close to wuhan airport, I highly recommend you try this one. You won't be disappointed. See you again in the future and Thankyou! 😀

__M1350271****The hotel's location is great. This time, I booked a river-view room so my parents could see the fireworks show by the river. The room's hygiene was decent, and while it wasn't huge, the layout was quite practical. The bathroom was actually quite spacious. I appreciated that bottled water was freely available, which is a nice touch. It's now located across from Huangpi Road near the river, and they have their own parking lot.
MM252945****What a gem! This Manxin Hotel has so much character—it's actually a renovated Republic of China-era building with over 100 years of history. The moment you step in, you're enveloped by a strong Republican ambiance. The retro decor and elegant furnishings evoke the charm of old times everywhere you look, making it perfect for photos. I stayed with my son, and what impressed me most was how meticulous the room's hygiene was; it was clean and tidy, giving us peace of mind. The room design was also very thoughtful, with charming little ornaments and decorations. The Republic-era style furniture was arranged to feel both cozy and comfortable, not like a forced, stiff retro collection. It truly allows you to relax and soak in the elegance. Whether you love Republic of China culture or are traveling with kids and want a comfortable and unique place to stay, I highly recommend it! I'd love to stay here again next time~
