Quite a good selection on amenities, especially if you like taking baths (different kinds of bath salts)
Many choices on the types of pillows you want, and the room was much bigger than I thought, with a very good view... and I liked the balcony. They also have many snacks to choose from at the lounge to welcome the guests. Very convenient location too. Staff were very friendly and helpful
This is an older, well-established hotel that is impeccably maintained. It's just a few minutes' walk from the station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and the pricing is reasonable outside of peak season. The breakfast is decent, if not exceptional. I would recommend staying here.
The hotel rooms were new and clean, and the front desk staff were also good. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. My only regret was not having enough time to enjoy the hot springs. It's super close to the theme park, and in summer, you can also visit their water park, which the kids absolutely loved.
Upon arriving at Toba Station a little past 6 PM, we couldn't locate the hotel shuttle bus as advised by the guide. Decided to call the hotel just to try our luck, and to our surprise, they immediately dispatched a private car to pick us up! Service was absolutely impeccable! 💯
The hotel's absolute standout feature has to be its hot springs! ♨️ Especially the unique Pearl Onsen – the only one in Japan infused with Mikimoto pearl powder. My skin felt incredibly soft and glowed after soaking. (A glass of milk after the onsen is a must – incredibly refreshing! *Personally, I prefer the fruit-flavored one.)
Room Experience: We booked the most basic Japanese-style room (washitsu) and truly enjoyed the authentic experience of sleeping on traditional tatami mats.
Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome cheesecake 🍰 waiting for us in the fridge – absolutely delicious!
All toiletries were exclusively Mikimoto branded, adding a definite touch of luxury and quality. (We even bought a set from the hotel shop before leaving – eligible for tax-free shopping!)
🥣 Breakfast was a classic Japanese set meal, served individually with no menu choices. The highlight, however, was the dining environment – private rooms! *Be bold and request a window-side private room.
❤️ Enjoying a refined breakfast in such a private setting, while gazing at the serene ocean view outside, was an incredibly soothing and delightful experience.
Stay for one night to visit the Shima Spain Village. The location is a little bit far from the main station. However, the hotel have shuttle bus service and we could arrive the destination smoothly. The room is clean, the free hot spring (onsen) is good, the buffet-style breakfast is not bad, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, it's a nice stay.
Great food. Great service. What more to ask. If you going up the rope way. Do put your luggage here and buy ticket here. Cheaper 300 yen compare buy I station. Located beside bus and rope way station.
Food was good and open onsen is fantastic. Got massage for shiatsu for 8000 yen which is super bargain compare to luxury spa outside in Bangkok or sea
I love this hotel, staff have warm welcome and helpful,
ABF variety food including recommend local food, room clean with eco friendly, I love it❤️❤️❤️
Close train station for transfer to city nearby.
Walk 5-10 mins have 2 supermarket next to hotel 💕💕
Amazing staff - always kind and helpful. Food was wonderful and the best we had in Japan. The menu had around ten courses, each course with multiple small bowls and dips, beautifully arranged and served with love. The fish was very fresh and tasted amazing.
We enjoyed using the onsen every day. Always clean, hot and soothing, they also offer a wide range of shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. No need to bring your own.
The hotel itself (and the town) is a bit old unfortunately and although it is very clean, beds and rugs are older and might smell a bit. Other than that our stay was perfect.
This was my second stay. Overall, it was clean and the service was excellent.
The hot springs were very relaxing and I enjoyed them.
I would like to stay again.
Location was less than 5 mins from JR platform. Note if you are arriving onto Kintetsu platform, remember to cross the overhead bridge first to JR platform before exiting the station otherwise you’ll need to walk 15 mins to cross the railway crossing in a roundabout direction. Room was 15msq but didn’t feel tiny as we brought a small size luggage. Plenty of food options and familymart nearby. A must eat restaurant for dinner (washoku sato) great variety and very reasonable prices. Outer shrine was 15mins away and inner shrine was a 25mins bus ride. Great weekend getaway!!

GGuest UserHotel staff were very helpful and helped me find my way around the local area. Unfortunately, the hotel was very dated, and wasn't as clean as I would have liked. My room was a non-smoking room but there was a definite smell of tobacco in the room which can be quite sickly especially with the air conditioning pumping the smell around.
GGuest UserThe food was delicious and although it was a quiet town, I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanMie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting.
Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk.
The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options.
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby.
When you check in, you will see the last name or first name of each room occupant on the welcome board at the hotel entrance. It is quite interesting to find your own name.
DDr.RayWe stayed at Sanco Inn Kuwana for a night when we were in town to attend a wedding and found it to be a small but well-equipped hotel in a quiet, charming town. While the room and bathroom were quite compact—just enough space to open one suitcase—they thoughtfully included a small bathtub, though it may be a tight fit for taller guests when showering. It was adequate for us (a family of 2 adults 1 toddler)
The hotel impressed us with its attention to detail, offering various types of pillows and night robes in different sizes, even for children. Breakfast was a concise but well-curated selection. It’s best to come down early, as seating can be limited and there may be a queue for food. Conveniently, takeaway boxes were also available for those who prefer to eat on the go.
The location was great, with several convenience stores nearby and the train station just a few minutes’ walk away. A comfortable and practical stay for a short trip!
Ccotton_fromokinawaIt was a very beautiful room with good cleaning.
I stayed in a family type room with two people, so I was satisfied with the size! Even if I spread a large suitcase 2, it didn't get in the way at all ◎
There is no room key, unlock it with the password given at the front desk and enter the room.
It was comfortable not to carry a key card on purpose ♩
There was a mini kitchen and cooking utensils and tableware, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer ・: * +.
There are not many rice shops in the neighborhood and it closes quickly, so I think it's good to buy ingredients at the supermarket and cook for yourself before going to Ise City.
GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, and understandably, it felt homey without a kitchen.
It was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. Breakfast and dinner can be ordered from the hotel or taken back to the hotel.
The hotel is located at the innermost part of Anle Island, and the windows and balcony offer views of the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable, so we didn't get to see the sunrise.
Driving is the most convenient option. Buses depart from Toba Station, but they are infrequent. Taxis are also available from Toba Station.

GGuest UserWe stayed for an extended period with our family. It didn't feel like a love hotel, and when we used the drink bar at the front desk, we saw other families staying there who were tourists, and there were signs directing us to nearby restaurants and coin laundries.
The hotel had a microwave, refrigerator, large TV, massage chair, and a jacuzzi bath with a TV. In addition to a large bed, there were also two sofas that could sleep one adult. It was clean and quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, so we had a very pleasant stay.
The amenities were also excellent, as expected.
We were worried because we couldn't find any nearby hotels where we could stay for multiple nights, but it was well worth the price!
GGuest UserI have two feelings about this stay.
1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival.
2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.
