The hotel is new, the swimming pool is clean, the owner is an old man from Northeast China, and he is responsible for pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station. Most importantly: it is not far from the night market and the main street, about a five-minute walk (a 100-meter dirt road, remember to bring a mask).
Because it is not on the main street, it is very quiet at night, and you can watch hot air balloons in your room when you wake up in the morning.
By the way, the Indian food across the street from the bar is pretty good. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask
At first, I thought the room was too small. The price was not cheap, but the facilities were only comparable to those of a domestic hotel, and there was a bit of a musty smell. However, after comparing the surrounding area, I found it to be one of the better hotels in Vangrong. The mountain view rooms offer views of hot air balloons and paramotors every morning and evening, and you can watch the sunrise from the rooftop in the morning. The location is also quite convenient, and the pool is relatively clean. Highly recommended.
Very poor value for money! This is a big hotel in the center of Vang Vieng. No charm. Yes some rooms have a nice view, although not directly on the river. It was definitely not as good as on the pictures. The bathroom looked relatively old. Overall it’s nothing too bad, but very very overpriced. The night before we stayed in Riverside Boutique Hotel for the same price range, and it was much much better.
The place located a bit far from Vangvieng city center but it's a perfect place for staycation. We went there on week day so there's not a lot of people stay in the hotel which is very good for our group.
Hotel have a wonderful view of mountain and river for us to just sit and stair at it, but if you prefer to swim can go ahead!
Staff are very friendly and ready to help, 100% satisfy with all service. We contacted hotel staff before our visit so they turn on the AC ready before our arrival.
We also met two lovely siberian husky there too!

It could been better if TV and WiFi working well
As soon as check in aircorn was leaking and rain shower not working properly but they fixed it right away. Before check in should someone inspect room ? Provide all amenities that really not necessary instead should have soap holder in bath room. Location seen abit far from center at first yet after walk around that walkable distance to night walking street and restaurants. They got roof top bar good view to enjoy.
This is a newly opened hotel in Vang Vieng. When I booked it, there weren't any reviews at all, and some locals didn't even know it was open. Based on my years of experience booking hotels, I chose this hotel, and it was even better than I expected.
Pros: New facilities, spacious rooms with balconies, and a large swimming pool in the courtyard. The provided toiletries were of decent quality. The hotel is also in a great location, right on the night market street, practically in the heart of the city, making it convenient to everything. The service was also good. The front desk was very friendly (in English), and all my questions were answered. The front desk also offers day trips and car rentals, but the prices are higher than those of travel agencies. The breakfast offerings vary; the first day's breakfast was average, but the second was delicious.
Cons: The entire resort is still under construction, so it's quite dusty. There are no other major drawbacks.
All in all, the value for money is very good right now, and it's foreseeable that prices will increase as word of mouth builds, so it's best to stay here soon.
Service is very good. The breakfast is plentiful and the dining environment is very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off to the town center for free! There is a swimming pool, the cockroach is relatively small, soak it.
Clean rooms, delicious breakfast The atmosphere is quiet. Suitable for relaxing on a holiday, not chaotic. If I come to Vangwian again, I will definitely come back and stay again.
This is a gem of a resort! We still talk about our stay here. Probably, one of the best pools I've been in. The views are incredible, the breakfast is sumptuous, the rooms are exceptional, and the spa is fantastic!
The ONLY drawback I can think of is the (approx 15 min) walk back from the center of town (we felt very safe!)
Getting to town center is not an issue as they have a shuttle service (5-7 drive)
But if that is not an issue for you, then just go and stay here and you will not regret it

PPhanouKVSThe room is spacious and clean. But the noise from next door is pretty loud when they close the door. But overall a fine stay for short trip.
GGuest UserBeautiful views 100%.
Breakfast same every morning but not very bad.
Room not 100% clean.
Toilet door can not lock and the room door very annoying complicated to open.
My bad on the pillow and on bed/sheets I find a lot of hair also on the floor. The bed not well made.
The lift very slow. But the guy in reception very friendly and helpful.
The building too old,the picture in trip.com and reality very different.
YYollandiLet me tell you, this hotel deserves to pay its staff triple! Khamla truly went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay, and her kindness left me speechless. Honestly, when I first arrived, I thought, “Oh no, I’m canceling my booking right now.” But thankfully, they let me see the room before check-in and even offered a full refund if I wasn’t satisfied. In the end, I decided to stay for the two nights since I figured it would be okay.
Now, I won’t lie—the exterior of the hotel looks a bit worn, but don’t let that fool you! Inside, it’s spotless and conveniently located near a plethora of restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. I booked an exhilarating hot air balloon ride for $120 through the hotel for the next day, and it was absolutely unforgettable.
I also had my heart set on visiting the Nahm Xai viewpoint but didn’t want to venture out alone. The staff went out of their way to help me find an English-speaking tour guide, and when that didn’t pan out, Khamla from the front desk stepped in. She graciously offered to be my guide on her day off! She hiked with me up to the viewpoint, snapped photos, and made sure I was safe and sound every step of the way.
In the end, I couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay. The service here is truly top tier, making this hotel experience one I won’t forget!
KkdreidgeThis hotel felt quite run down. We arrived to the lobby with two old mattresses leaning against the wall. The room was big and had lovely views, however, the door had cracks in it that you could see through to the hallway and hear everything going on outside the room. The bathroom is in need of desperate repair. The AC roared loudly on and off all night, the metal from the AC rattled the windows. The sheets did not fully cover the mattress (just a loose sheet on top of the bare mattress, so in the night I found myself touching the old mattress with my hand). White duvet had stains. Pool was really nice with river views, definitely the highlight of our stay. We went elsewhere for breakfast after seeing what was offered. Staff were helpful in booking a tuk tuk and storing our luggage for the day.
Jjons02Great Value with Excellent Service & Prime Location
The room was clean and comfortable for the price—definitely not a luxury hotel, but the service felt luxurious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the receptionist went above and beyond to help, even arranging a tuk-tuk for me to the railway station at checkout.
One of the best perks was the convenience—the hotel offers bike and scooter rentals, as well as a variety of day tours. Whether you're interested in paramotoring, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, hiking, or exploring caves and lagoons, they’ve got you covered. If you’d rather book elsewhere, the location is perfect, with plenty of tour operators right next door.
The area is packed with different restaurants, and my personal favorite, the night market, was just steps away. There are also several laundry services nearby, making longer stays hassle-free.
The only downside was noise—the walls and doors are a bit thin, so you might hear doors closing or noisy neighbors. My room was on the first floor (right side), so if you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a quieter spot away from high-traffic areas.
Overall, a fantastic stay for the price, with outstanding service and an unbeatable location!
ps. You can also enjoy a quick swim by the pool before going to your room!
GGuest UserExcellent Stay at Kinton Hotel – Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing stay at Kinton Hotel. The place is packed with amenities and the service is truly top-notch. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, which made everything smooth and hassle-free.
One huge plus is their self-service laundry and dryer – super useful, especially if you’re doing outdoor activities or a longer trip. The food was quite good, and the cleanliness was exceptional. On the first day, our room was accidentally missed during cleaning, but they immediately sent someone up as soon as we let them know – great responsiveness.
I also booked via Trip.com, where it mentioned late checkout. The hotel honored that without hesitation, which I really appreciated.
For a city that’s full of parties and adventures, it’s great to come back to a comfortable, clean, and calm hotel like this. The price is very reasonable for what you get – maybe even a bit more value than you pay for.
If you’re visiting Vang Vieng, I highly recommend staying here. 👍
MMufasha_NicolaOverall, it's okay. The location is convenient in a bustling area of Vang Vieng, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the booking felt a bit forced. I booked two nights, but the first night wasn't great. The wooden edge of the bed hit my knees several times, and the bed I was assigned could be seen by everyone who came in. Maybe because I arrived late, I only had the lower bunk, which left me with no privacy. I had to draw the curtains, but that made it very hot. Because there are so many mosquitoes in Laos, I brought ointment with me, but it didn't last and I was still bitten. So I decided to cancel one night on the spur of the moment. When I contacted customer service, they said the booking couldn't be canceled, and I lost the money I paid for the stay. It was a waste of money...
CCyrilReally nice place to stay a view days. The fact that it's not in the centre helps if you don't like it noisy. There's enough space to relax and also the swimming pool is great. Some rooms have a balcony the others enogh space right downstairs. The staff is nice and friendly and very helpful with all you need. They can also book you tours, transport and rent Scooters. Would be my hotel of choice in case of return.
MMemexxThe location is good,it's by the river and you have the view of the mountain. It's quiet and not a lot of people around, a bit far from the city center but the owner called a tuk tuk for us when we checked out,we paid 200,000 kip for it but we think we got robbed. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable
