this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

Great stay! It's within a kilometer of both Armenian Street (mural street) and the Chew Jetty, making it convenient to go anywhere. We noted it was our honeymoon when booking, and they helped decorate the room with a lovely drawing. The staff were very friendly and spoke basic Chinese. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. Just a heads-up that the elevators require your room key card to operate, and the cards automatically deactivate after 12:00 PM on the check-out day (the front desk easily reactivated it for us). I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Penang.

Had a really enjoyable staycation. The room was comfortable and just right for 4 people. Towels, iron, pillows, mineral water, coffee... all the basic amenities were fine. The bathtub and toilet were clean. However, upon checking in, as soon as I opened the door, the room had a stale smell. Perhaps it was because of showering in the room, making it a bit wet and damp. The hotel also gave a special warning about Charlie ants. The air conditioning was extremely cold. The TV channels were acceptable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. I was able to check in 15 minutes early and check out an hour late, which was great. There were so many choices for breakfast, I was very happy. The famous Natrah Nasi Kandar is just a 2-minute walk away. Parking felt safe. Overall, it was excellent.

I had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything was exactly as expected. The location was also very convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever needed. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was great, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

The room was really unique and interesting, an experience I'd never had before. The location is excellent too; you can walk to all the nearby photo-op spots, and the closest restaurants are all delicious. Walking to Clan Jetties is also no problem. The free bus stop is just across the street, which is super convenient. I highly recommend staying here for both the ambiance and location. The Indian staff members at the hotel were all very friendly and would greet us proactively. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, right after our flight. One of the staff members said we could check-in early at 1:30 PM, so we left our luggage at the front desk and went out for lunch, thinking we could come back, change, and head out for some sightseeing and photos. However, when we returned at the appointed time, a different female staff member told us we couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. I simply mentioned that I was previously told we could check in at 1:30 PM, and she immediately became upset, telling me not to pressure or rush her. To accommodate her mood, my family of three quietly sat with her in the lobby for half an hour. After that, she simply announced that it was time to check in, without having received any calls or anything – it was just the scheduled time. All the other staff members at this hotel were very enthusiastic, but she was always unhappy and gave us a cold shoulder whenever we saw her. I hope she can find some happiness. I understand that the official check-in time is 3 PM. I was just trying to discuss an earlier check-in. If I had been told from the start that early check-in wasn't possible, I would have taken a taxi to a more distant area to explore and returned later. Travel time is limited, and I want to plan my trips more efficiently, not waste time waiting in a hotel lobby to check in. I'm not here to accompany her at work, and I hope she can be more professional and consider the needs of travelers. I really hope other guests staying here don't encounter her; everything else was perfect.

The resort rooms are quite spacious, with windows directly facing the sea. The highlight of Angsana Teluk Bahang, Penang is the outdoor infinity pool on the third floor. I went swimming every day, and the sunsets in the evening were beautiful for photos. The beach down from the hotel is very quiet and the water is clean, feeling much better than the nearby Ferringhi Beach. It's very convenient to get to the National Park, and you can walk or take a Grab to Teluk Bahang nearby for food. The prices are good, Sweet Home No.2 near the park is great, and Da Dong Seafood is also good.

I can’t believe that we such affordable price the hotel have a pool and even the rooms is so spacious Upon arrival they offer an upgrade with small fee so I took it The room is so huge with balcony and big bathtub is worth every penny I would strongly recommend to try their bathtub rooms 😍

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very satisfied with everything. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the environment was pleasant, truly giving a 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms' vibe. The only thing I was unhappy with was the salesperson at the gift shop next to the lobby on the first floor. I bought a bunch of fridge magnets, and after paying, I asked if they had a gift bag, even offering to pay for it. The Malaysian saleswoman wearing a headscarf suddenly yelled at me, meaning they don't provide gift bags and told me to get out quickly. She really yelled, which was a bit baffling and not a polite tone at all. She clearly wasn't friendly to Chinese people. One star for this attendant. Since the shop is inside the hotel, I consider it bad service. It instantly ruined my mood.

The hotel is quite new with spacious rooms and offers great value for money. However, after checking in, a series of issues made our stay quite uncomfortable. First, regarding the front desk service: although there is a Chinese-speaking receptionist, most of the time we were assisted by one who doesn't speak Chinese. Moreover, her attitude toward white guests was noticeably better than toward Asian guests—it went from friendly smiles to cold indifference. Also, as shown in p1–p2, the Americano we ordered at the lobby café had a small bug in it. The front desk offered to remake it, but we were rushing to catch a flight and had no time to wait, yet they didn't waive the charge for the coffee, and the matter was just left unresolved. Secondly, as shown in p3, the AC remote control didn't work properly; we had to stand almost right next to the air conditioner for a few buttons to respond, and we couldn't adjust the temperature at all. Every time we entered the room, we had to spend half an hour just wrestling with the air conditioner. Finally, as shown in p4, the door latch in our room had been removed for some reason. A friend staying on another floor said their latch was intact, which made us feel very insecure when sleeping at night.
