The hotel has an old vintage charm, and you can tell it must have had a grand atmosphere during its prime. It mainly features older furnishings, so it’s suitable if you don’t mind that style. The cleanliness is highly commendable, as maintaining older items requires great care. The furniture is well-maintained, sturdy, and fully functional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Damai Lagoon Resort is nestled between the Mountain Santubong and the South China Sea. The resort environment is serene tugged in a tropical rainforest setting. The area provides a tranquil retreat with dense jungles and sandy beaches. The Sarawak Cultural Village is located just a stone’s throw away. It is within 10 minutes walking distance. We were given all sea-fronting views with one corner rooms on the 3rd floor. We could listen to the waves crashing on the beach during high tide. The spacious space coupled with modern shower amenities and comfortable bedding made our stay an enjoyable experience and we had a relaxing time there. The buffet breakfast served was sumptuous with wide spread of local cuisines. We enjoyed swimming in the clean infinity pool in a sunset backdrop. There are many indoor games provided for the children. Thus, you will not get bored staying in this resort. The resort entrance is grand and the guest lounge is huge and beautiful overlooking the sea. The resort staff members are very helpful and friendly. The resort is highly recommended if you want to have a relaxing holiday outside Kuching city. Thank you.

Value for money. Right in the city center and within walking distance to time square. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. No chair at all in the room and the only place to sit is on the bed or floor. Complimentary gelato is ok, so don expect too much.

The price truly reflects a 5-star hotel. It's suitable for wealthy individuals or when paid for by a company. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the service is excellent, and the facilities are complete. The only drawback is its location, which is quite far from town.

It was a pleasant weekend, having to stay at Hilton Kuching. The location is perfect, right next to the promenade and river, facing the majestic landmark of the State Government office, which is the backdrop for the nightly fountain show. Everything about Kuching, the old charm of Carpenter Street, the newer side of town, etc are all within a stone’s throw away. The staff of Hilton is amazingly friendly and helpful. All in all we had a great stay at Hilton Kuching.

You can tell the hotel is a bit dated, but the room we stayed in was renovated, which was actually quite nice. The only downside is that if you're driving, parking can be really hard to find; the lot was full both day and night.
