Our experience was really great: the hotel is very clean, the staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is top notch and you can enjoy your coffee in front of the Pyramid: simply amazing.
The rooms are clean, WIFI is working well, the Gym is well equipped.
The swimming pool is big and the area around it is nice, the water in April could have been a little bit warmer though.
All in all a top experience, would come back any time.
I highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons:
1. This is a hotel invested in by China National Petroleum Corporation in Egypt, and its dining and amenities all feature Chinese characteristics. First, the breakfast menu includes fried dough sticks, purple rice porridge, tomato and egg noodles, milk, honeydew melon, oranges, and more, guaranteed to satisfy even your Chinese palate. Second, you can order lunch and dinner directly from your room. While the hotel's prices are in US dollars, which might seem intimidating, the menu includes a wide selection of home-cooked dishes and common household items. It's affordable, ensuring you'll feel at home while abroad. The food is delicious and filling. It's refreshing...
2. The hotel is very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum, less than 800 meters away, making it within walking distance. The Pyramids are also 3 kilometers away, making it a great base for a short break.
3. The hotel offers excellent value for money, including slippers and Chinese-style power sockets.
4. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the Chinese management team often offers preferential treatment to domestic guests.
I am convinced back in the 80's, this hotel was considered to be the height of luxury. In 2025, most people would disagree. It's a good 45-minute walk to the main centre whilst other similar classes of hotels like Semiramis were much closer. Staff were polite, but the service was poor. The waiting time at checkin exceeded 40 minutes. It was noticeable that there were more staff on the other side of the counter, apologiesing to customers than actual check staff. The rooms were clean, but the design was old-fashioned. Large room but very small toilet lacking space to put things out. The hotel has two in-house restaurants, both were grossly overpriced, and the food was unremarkable. The gym was huge and well equipped, but I failed to understand why anyone wanted to stay in a hotel for a serious workout. The things that mattered, such as jukuzi and sauna, were tiny and dirty. The outdoor pool was more like a paddle pool. Overall, there are much better hotels available at a similar price point.
The hotel is located a little remote, but it is a good place in this area. The price is very affordable. The breakfast is a little simple, but it is the same style in Egypt. There is a swimming pool inside and the room is very clean.
I paid a $50 deposit via credit card and the result was that the front desk mishandled me and paid 100$. It has not been refunded for more than a month now, which has exceeded the accommodation fee I paid.
Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately.
It was clean and fresh, small villas one by one. No deposit required. Check in 4 hours in advance. The early flight arrived at 6 o'clock, and I checked in at 9 o'clock. It was so nice. I took a shower and went to the pyramids, only 10 minutes and 7 km
Very new hotel, rich breakfast, like the freshly made pitta cake. The bed was very comfortable and it was about 30 minutes drive from the pyramid scenic spot. Hotel security is strict. . . .
Located in Giza, Premier Pyramids Inn is connected to a shopping center, a 4-minute drive from Giza Pyramid Complex and 8 minutes from Pyramid of Khufu. This bed & breakfast is 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from Grand Egyptian Museum and 9.6 mi (15.5 km) from Cairo Tower.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as a 24-hour health club or take in the view from a rooftop terrace. Additional features at this bed & breakfast include complimentary wireless internet access, tour/ticket assistance, and complimentary use of a nearby fitness facility.
Enjoy a meal at the restaurant or snacks in the bed & breakfast's coffee shop/cafe. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Featured amenities include complimentary wired internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 5 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring free minibar items and flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wired and wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming provides entertainment. Private bathrooms with bathtubs feature bidets and hair dryers. Conveniences include electric kettles and complimentary bottled water, and housekeeping is provided daily.
It has only been open for 4 months, so it was clean and well-equipped. It is a little far from the tourist sites in Giza, but you can enjoy a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle. The Japanese restaurant next door, recommended by the hotel, is rumored to be ranked number one among the delicious restaurants in Giza, and it was the best food I had in Egypt! I will definitely come back here again.

AAkkarpanLocation, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.
GGuest UserWOW WOW WOW, is all I can say about this hotel, I loved my whole experience, check in is 24 hours and we arrived at 4:30am and was greeted by happy staff who were very welcoming.
The pool is warm and open 24/7 it’s on the roof where there is a manned restaurant which is also 24/7 and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
We watched the pyramids at sunrise from the rooftop bar, the photos of the view don’t do it justice.
Towels are provided at the pool.
Also Hassan provides a great Massage by the pool.
It was my sons 30th birthday and all the staff knew and stopped him to wish him a great day.
They even made a massive cake and all the staff came and sang happy birthday.
Everyone made sure our every wim was catered for.
The rooms where massive and exceptionally clean.
Its also close to a selection of shops and supermarkets.
I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this hotel.
I can’t wait to go back in January.

GGuest UserIf you ever get the privilege to stay at the four seasons DO IT! THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! I haven't checked in to my hotel because I was in luxor all day and I messaged them through their app to see about room service being there before I make it in. They delivered my meal already as I said it was okay knowing time wise I would be in late and assume that service ends at some point of the evening. I've only had lunch today I haven't been in a bed in the last 48hours, they set ny room up and delivered my food with out me checking in! Theyer amazing they set my spa time for tomorrow evening as well. They also able to offer massage in your room, their guest services is top notch. It's pricey but they absolutely take care if you! I've been to the one in Maui as well, absolutely not disappointed!
AAnonymous UserFrom check-in to departure
The whole experience was very good
Excellent location
Staff are quite friendly
The disadvantage is that the workmanship in the bathroom is a bit rough
Drainage is not good
The bath products provided are not easy to use. It is recommended to bring your own.
GGuest UserThe Mövenpick Hotel Cairo Media City is truly amazing! The rooms are spacious and clean, with complete and considerate facilities. The staff here are warm-hearted and friendly, providing meticulous and responsive service. The food is rich and delicious, catering to different tastes. Besides, its location is superior and it's convenient for traveling. Here, you can fully enjoy comfort and coziness. It's highly recommended to travelers coming to Cairo!

白白骨小哥The swimming pool is very nice, the waiters are very responsible, very serious and enthusiastic, the front desk and the small shop owners are very enthusiastic, and the geographical conditions are also very good. Will come to live next time! ! !
