Mishima is a bit of an undiscovered gem, isn't it? 😆 I stayed for three nights and it was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy slow-paced, independent travel. It's a charming town nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, where melted snow flows into the picturesque Genbei River. Mishima makes an excellent base camp for exploring destinations like Izu Kogen, Mount Omuro, the Cactus Park, Hakone, Owakudani, the Hakone Pirate Ship, and even Lake Kawaguchiko for Mount Fuji views. What's more, accessing Atami Station by car/train from here is also very convenient.
Now, about the hotel itself. The rooftop onsen (hot spring bath) is definitely a major plus! It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and never crowded. Whether you go for a morning soak or an evening dip to unwind, the views are absolutely stunning 🌟 Breakfast was also fantastic, as you can see from the photos I've included! 😁 The service was superb, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine available – a combined washer-dryer for just 500 yen for 120 minutes! That was a huge bonus 🥳 If possible, try to book their largest room type. We couldn't get a corner room, so we ended up with a 27 sq m room, which wasn't huge. However, all the other aspects of our stay were so delightful and comfortable 😍
The room is large and extremely nice, all the required amenities are there. The view from the room balcony is magnificent, overseeing the beach . The unseen in the room is nice too, the temperature is just right .
The free taxi service to and from station is very thoughtful and convenient. this is better than shuttle bus service which some hotels offer.
The breakfast options are many with both western, Japanese, and even a bit of chinese.
This hotel boasts stunning views. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and you can soak in the hot spring bath while enjoying direct views of Mount Fuji. I'll definitely be staying longer on my next visit! A complimentary shuttle service to the hotel is a huge plus, and the overall environment is truly wonderful. The only minor drawback is that dining options aren't very convenient.
This time try the newly opened hotel.
The room I booked still had a view of Mount Fuji. Once I opened the window, I saw the whole of Mount Fuji.
The hotel is conveniently close to the outlet, sightseeing shopping at once!

The hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.
Will definitely come back. Small boutique hotel. Suitable for couples
After arriving at the hotel, someone immediately helped to park the car. We checked in while drinking champagne. There is a lounge with free snacks and various drinks all day long, which is very high quality.
The room is large and comfortable, with an unbeatable sea view. The hot spring in the room is very comfortable. The mini bar has various free drinks, including juice, tea, alcoholic drinks, etc.
The dinner is really great. Authentic French cuisine. I ate it for two days without repeating it. The ingredients are more advanced every day. I have to stay for more than three consecutive days for dinner.
The perfect hotel gave me a perfect vacation
The room and environment are great, and the service is also very good. I just asked the front desk to borrow an adapter, but there was no adapter. In addition, the Western food reserved for dinner was said to be the default on Ctrip, but I did not choose Western food. Why should I go to a Japanese-style hotel? Maybe they all ordered Western food, but after negotiating for a long time, they changed to Japanese food for one night. I don't know who should be blamed for this problem.
The hotel facilities and services are excellent, the indoor and public hot springs are superb, and the view of the sea and mountains is unbeatable. Afternoon tea drinks and snacks are free to eat, and soft drinks are available. The only drawback is that we were arranged a room on the second floor this time, and the view is slightly worse.
(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored.
They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good.
The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way.
It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ
Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.

GGuest UserVery Japanese style, suitable for foreigners who want to experience pure Japanese style and natural hot springs. It’s so worth it, so mysterious and amazing🤩
772p911sI couldn't see the hallways as they were being renovated, but the lobby was wonderful and the open-air bath overlooking the Izu sea was the best. Unfortunately, the main dining room was also under renovation. I would like to visit you again after the renovation.
