Impromptu trip with mum for short getaway and escape from the heat. Mum is picky eater but she enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Will visit again if have good deal. Thank you!
The hotel did look new outside but actually quite dated. But still easily, might be the best in KB! Nearby are shopping mall and few local eateries. Room/bed was big, king bed was comfy. Only the toilet bowl bit lower than usual. Breakfast variety is massive, love that you can get Kelantanese famous local laksam, roti titap, kuih akok and some Johorean steam bread with pool peanut curry. Continental menu, pastries, egg station available too. The pool is huge and their gym also very big and quite updated. Afternoon tea packages are quite interesting. Located just a 10 mins to city centre. Would love to come back again to this hotel.
Just one I noticed, no sejadah in my room. Don't forget to bring your own.
Overall this hotel is great. They got cafe that sell snacks that open 24hrs. The room is quite spacious for family or 3. They also got gym (level1) and laundry that got iron, washer and dryer (level 2). For parking you can park near the hotel or restaurant nearby. Receptionist showed great attitude ๐๐ป
Went for a short trip in Kelantan and we enjoyed our stay so much! Spent 2D 1N for food hunting and it was definitely a worth it experience. Hotel was nice and cozy. Here are some of the dishes we tried during our stay in Kelantan. Love it!! ๐๐๐ป
Room โ Tidy and clean, but the air conditioner was not functioning well. It was not cold enough.
Bathroom โ The pipe was leaking, and the sink water pressure was too low. The amenities provided were only shampoo and shower gel. No toothbrush was supplied.
Indoor Pool โ The water was too cloudy.
Ambience โ The room was not soundproof. Since the hotel is located near the main road, noise from outside was quite loud and may disturb your sleep.
Overall โ The hotel building is quite old and in need of some maintenance. Although the room was tidy and clean, several facilities were not functioning properly, including the air conditioning and some bathroom fixtures. The indoor pool was also not well maintained. Additionally, the noise from the nearby main road may disturb light sleepers as the rooms are not fully soundproof. Overall, the stay was average, but improvements are needed to enhance guest comfort and experience.
The room was comfortable, but cleanliness was an issue. The TV channels were difficult to use. I tried repeatedly to reach customer service via WhatsApp and phone calls, but received no response. Check-in instructions were only provided on the day I was due to check in.
The location is strategic, close to shops in the city center. The elevators were fast. Security was good, and parking was convenient. The Ibis cafe was also enjoyable.
However, the area leading to the parking lot felt quite run-down despite being new. It was full of cobwebs, and the lights weren't working.
Best hotel in KB so far.. i love the breakfast too despite Ramahdan month still many varieties at the hotel restaurant. Just a bit disappointed on the treadmills that require proper maintenance or perhaps get a new set.
The hotel is relatively new and comfortable to stay in. Parking is convenient with a large parking lot. The swimming pool is on the top floor and very clean. Breakfast offers a good variety. The electric water heater provides ample water pressure and a comfortable temperature. The service attitude is excellent.
For me okay, nice hotel walaupun furnished dia mcm da lama sikit tp masih boleh guna. Thank you juga ada iron yg jenis steam iron. Staff dorang semua okay. Mungkin boleh tambah lagi chanel tv and quality siaran. Itu sahaja, yg lain semua terbaik! ๐ฅฐ๐โจ
A night at Jewels Hotel, Kota Bharu โ charmingly modest yet full of pleasant surprises. We snagged a room for RM152, and despite its appearance as a budget establishment, it turned out to be delightfully comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant, beautifully furnished, everything one needs to unwind after a day of exploring.
Only one small hiccup: toiletries were basic โ a 3-in-1 shower gel (shampoo + conditioner) plus towel, and thatโs it. No toothbrush, paste, cotton buds and so on. If those were included, Iโd be rating it an A+.
Some interesting colour: Jewels Hotel was formerly known as Habib Hotel and is part of the HABIB Group. Its theme, as you might guess, revolves around โjewelsโ, reflected in its decor and name.
All in all, for value and comfort right in the heart of Kota Bharu, it hits the spot โ perfect for travellers on the go wanting something pleasant without breaking the bank.

GGuest UserBooked the hotel last minute and access was possible therefore much appreciated. The living is indeed large and spacious as photographed. However, suprising that the main bedroom was the twin room whilst the 2nd bedroom with double bed tucked into a corner with single side access. All beddings were clean and fresh. However, there is only 1 bathroom worth pointing out if this is missed out. The unit is smoke free so great for those like us who hates smell of smoke. To further add, the shower trays and bidet holder could all have been properly repaired or renewed and hope future guests can enjoy better.
