AAnonymous UserThe lobby service was attentive; the staff proactively helped with luggage and directed me to the front desk, and the shuttle bus driver was also very friendly.
However, there was a lack of knowledge regarding hotel products. When I asked questions, I was told to call customer service from my room. Customer service couldn't answer immediately and said they would get back to me later.
There were several issues in the room: many mosquitoes, and the floor drain in the balcony hot tub was broken. For a hot spring resort hotel, it was surprising that mosquito nets and bathtub liners were not provided. I had to call a total of four times to communicate these issues, which made for a poor experience.

GGuest UserI was really surprised to find out that Mission Hills is so great for family trips! We were there for a competition nearby, so we decided to just stay at the hotel. I explained our situation to them, and since there was a room available, they let us check in early at 12 PM. This was perfect because my child could have a nap before the competition. In the evening, we went straight to the amusement park and played until closing. Then, we had the hotel buffet, and it was a great deal since kids under 1.2 meters eat free. After dinner, we went for a hot spring bath. The next morning, after breakfast, we had planned to go to the Squirrel Park, but my child didn't want to leave the ball pit in the kids' play area, and then we went on the mini-train. It was a super packed and fun two days! Traveling during the off-season, despite the heat, I really appreciated the convenient and thoughtful service at the accommodation.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic! The hotel environment was comfortable and spotless, making the entire check-in process smooth and worry-free. My concierge, Zirong, even shared duty-free vouchers, which saved me a good amount of money. The support decorations I requested in advance were perfectly executed, creating an amazing atmosphere. Zirong was patient and attentive throughout, and any requests I had were handled promptly. The thoughtful and thorough service made this stay particularly memorable. A truly perfect experience!

The room was spacious, stylishly decorated, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The service was also very attentive; our butler was responsive, and housekeeping kept everything spotless, even tidying up promptly after we went out. The breakfast was rich and varied, catering to all tastes. The surroundings of the villa were tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely bring my family here again!

The hotel itself has several dining options with a variety of cuisines, which was a real plus. Encountering five-star service at a five-star hotel during the off-season, and getting such great value for money when booking now, made for a truly rewarding experience.
Joan and Shela, the ladies at the front desk, were especially welcoming with their radiant smiles, making me feel right at home.

GGuest UserI originally chose this hotel because it was 'about to become a Fairmont,' and even though the sign outside no longer says that, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The hardware was particularly surprising: the hotel extensively uses carpeting, both in the rooms and public areas. Knowing that maintaining carpets in a high-humidity, high-salinity coastal area is extremely difficult (most seaside hotels opt for wood or tile floors – I still remember the indescribable smell at The Royal Begonia, a Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya), the carpet condition in my room this stay was excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into maintenance, especially for a hotel that's already nearly 20 years old (or even older?). Check-in was seamless (I didn't catch the name of the kind lady who helped me). There was also a follow-up call to the room after I settled in, which very few hotels do. While the hotel's pool isn't huge, it's very well-designed, encircling the garden with both deep and shallow areas. Seating is well-spaced out (unlike the packed rows at Sheraton, for instance), offering a genuine resort feel where guests can relax without disturbing each other. Swimming and sunbathing there were very pleasant. From the pool, you can walk out to the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way down to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. It's perfect for an evening stroll or a morning workout. Coming back from a run along the beach in the morning and then soaking in the hot spring really brings on that holiday vibe. Even though it hasn't become a Fairmont yet, the hospitality lives up to the 'Royal Service' mentioned on the phone. Thank you for the hospitality, and special thanks to Megan for her thoughtful touch. For someone who loves carpets and a resort atmosphere, this is a place in Haikou worth relaxing at, and I'd definitely want to come back again.

GGuest UserAI recently stayed at Nanshan Temple Muyin, Qinghuandu Rainforest View Hotel, and overall, it was a very peaceful and enjoyable experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all amenities in excellent condition, which made my stay truly relaxing.
The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. A great example of this was when I tried to work out at the gym, which is located outdoors and had flooring that wasn’t ideal. The staff noticed me exercising and promptly offered an exercise mat so that my clothes would not get dirty. This thoughtful gesture left a positive impression.
The hotel facilities were generally good, and the serene environment around the property added to the experience. The food was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly outstanding. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of my stay.
In summary, Nanshan Temple Muyin, Qinghuandu Rainforest View Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent service and comfortable rooms, even if the dining experience could be improved slightly.

AAnnieWe went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels.
Cleanliness: overall quite clean.
Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island.
Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced.
Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

AAnonymous UserNot great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it.

LLaojianxixixiStaying at the Hilton in Wanning this time was a great choice, no regrets! The environment is incredibly comfortable, with coconut trees everywhere you look. Just step out, and you're at the pool and lawn. Strolling around with the sea breeze is so relaxing. The service is also super warm and thoughtful; check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. Staff members greet you proactively whenever you see them, and if you have any questions, they're immediately there to help. The entire stay was smooth and effortless. This place is perfect for a vacation; I'll definitely choose it again next time.
