Waking up to a breathtaking view of the snow-clad Himalayas right from my bed was an experience I’ll never forget since it felt surreal and deeply calming at the same time. The food was absolutely amazing, with every meal thoughtfully prepared (my fav being the Kumaoni Thaali). What truly set this experience apart, though, was the level of hospitality. The General Manager - Mr. Abhinav Trivedi went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the stay. A highlight of our visit was the beautifully arranged private candlelight dinner for our anniversary. It was intimate, elegant, and incredibly memorable, clearly put together with great attention to detail. Overall, this place exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, exceptional service, and unforgettable experiences, The Kumaon should be on your list!"

"Nayalap was exactly what we needed at exactly the right time. Nestled in the midst of jaw dropping and awe inspiring views, its an adobe to connect back with nature. An early morning tea with a view of Nanda Devi or a bonfire in the night gazing at the moon and stars. While we can keep on talking on and on about the natural beauty, Nayalap, run so amazingly by Tanuja and her team (Prem, Chandan and Deepak), allows you to connect and appreciate nature. The food, cooked by Prem, is amazingly delicious and homely. Chandan is available in a minute, treats you well and ***** with Deepak ensures your comfort and cleanliness of the tents. The tents are beautifully and thoughtfully designed with varied books talking about Uttarakhand. But the best part of the entire Nayalap experience was interacting with Tanuja. She understands the nature around and her love for the same comes across in the conversations. If you really want the Nayalap experience, you have to go on a Trek with Tanuja. As much as we would like to keep the place hidden, this is one of those where all nature lovers should go."

Cleanliness: The rooms, washrooms, and bed linens were very clean and well maintained, which added to our comfort. Food: The food was awesome—very tasty and satisfying. The restaurant ambiance is also quite appealing, creating a nice dining experience. Service: The staff members were very cooperative and attentive throughout our stay. Management: The owner has rich experience in hotel management, which clearly reflects in the way the property is maintained. He is also a good conversationalist and very approachable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."
