La Quinta by Wyndham Altoona des Moines

We have always loved the decor at this LaQuinta. We appreciate the bar in the lobby area and the breakfast is always so great and has a very spacious seating area.

everything was great other then the breakfasts. the first morning we ate and stuff was cold. that got better but they served the same things everyday. no switching it up.

Always amazing as usual and Sean is the best manager ever! He did some booking stuff for us and help us out a lot! And he has always been very helpful when we're there at the hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when we're in Altoona Iowa.

Overall was a nice facility! The gal who checked me in that afternoon was training and she was doing a great job for it being her first day.

We have stayed at this property several times now as we travel across country. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Room is always spotless. Great hot breakfast too!

Lodging and staff were great. Breakfast no so much. 8:30 am all the food was gone and no one in site to help. Ended up leave and driving through for breakfast.

So far, I’m loving this place! Very friendly and easy check-in. Perfect room, everything I need for a good rest.

Check in wait time long, understaffed. Breakfast good. Decent workout area, but missing one of the 30 lb dumbells.

We came in on Wednesday the 7th around 1130 pm. We had our dogs for one night because we could not drop them off until the next day, they charged us for 3 nights. Each day, we had to get our key reset because they would not set us up that we were going to be there for 4 nights. We had to go and get towels every morning and the front desk people were upset each time. Shawn at the front desk was the only that went out of his way to help us when we had to get our key reset. I told him this was the 3rd time and it is crazy. He apologized and then i told him about the people above us up all night sounding like they were jumping on a trampoline. He told me to call him personally when it happened and he would take care of it. I did call him after 1030 pm cuz i am not expecting everyone quiet all day, and he had them stop...until 6 am and they were back at it. We will never stay here again!
