"I had a very comfortable stay at Haarhuis; I extended one night, and would have stayed a third had the hotel not been fully booked. Check-in and also enquiries at front-desk were dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. A busy hotel when I visited - not at all surprising! - but room was quiet and restful, exactly what I needed. In what was a very hot period of weather, I appreciated the airconditioning, though it took a long while to cool the room. TV did not include BBC channels. For guests who desire a solid, firm mattress, be aware that the bed had a kind of soft mattress topper. Comments refer to Room 001. Great service. Super location for me, opposite the central train station."

"The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was cozy, and I enjoyed having coffee in the room. The hotel had good facilities, like a gym and a nice pool, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it!"

"The service at this STUNNING hotel is literally Michelin star level !!! What a fantastic team. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room and super comfy bed. I will 100% return to this hotel in the very near future! The restaurant in the lobby might as well be 3 Michelin starred. We couldn’t believe the talent, the quality, the service. Everything was INCREDIBLE!!! If you can’t stay, make it mandatory to go to the restaurant for a very special meal! Thank you also for having wonderful alcohol free wines and options. "Terrible experience at this hotel. The room did not match the photos shown at the time of booking at all. It felt like the Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs. The booking promised a balcony or a scenic view. There was no balcony, and the view was far from scenic. Instead, it overlooked the entrance area where people sat and loudly discussed their business all the time. This was not at all what we expected to see, and there was nothing scenic about it. We asked for a room change and were given a different room, but it was a downgrade from our original booking. However, as I understand it, we were charged according to the original reservation. When we checked in, we were informed that breakfast was served until 11:30 AM, and check-out was at 11 AM. We asked for confirmation because it seemed odd, and they confirmed these times. The next morning, we arrived for breakfast at 10:50 AM, only to be told that breakfast had ended at 11 AM. Although we arrived before 11, they offered us bread and eggs. The restaurant was already being cleaned and vacuumed, which made eating bread and eggs under such noisy conditions very unappealing. Overall, it was a terrible experience at this hotel. Additionally, in the morning, you can hear the cleaning staff loudly talking across the entire floor. They responded on booking that we were offered a delicious à la carte breakfast, but it was like “I can make bread and eggs for you”, but nothing else. They responded on Google that we have never been there, but it’s fake. I have proofs and the property just doesn’t take responsibility for their bad service"
