TianshibudiaomaoOur stay was incredibly pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and attentive, making us feel well cared for from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and cozy. We truly appreciate the dedication of every staff member; this stay left us very satisfied, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again if we have the chance. We wish the hotel continued prosperity. The gym was excellent, it would be perfect with the addition of a dumbbell bench.

Anonymous UserThe room was great, the service was very thoughtful, and the facilities were quite complete. The surrounding transportation was also very convenient, with the subway station just over 300 meters away, making it easy to get around. Parking was also free. Breakfast was rich, and the extended hours from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM were perfect for those who like to sleep in. There were also afternoon tea vouchers for complimentary coffee and milk tea, and the cocktails were delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again. Recommended!

Guest UserWhat truly impressed me about this stay wasn't the room size, but the subtle yet profound attentiveness of the front desk staff, Xiaolu. When I was checking in, I was on the phone, so she didn't say much. But after I got to my room, she called me back to go over the check-in details. She noticed our room was for three people but only had two breakfast vouchers, so she thoughtfully added an extra one for my child. This kind of understated yet perfectly timed care was far more reassuring than any standard, rehearsed smile. She wasn't just following service procedures; she was genuinely 'seeing' the guest. The breakfast was also fantastic, served buffet-style, and truly a delightful surprise. Highly recommended!!!

Gaodeng208The standardization at Hilton Garden Inn is consistently good. I've stayed at two of them recently, one in Lhasa and one in Guiyang, and they were practically identical in style. This particular hotel is located south of Jiaxiu Tower, and everything is very well-appointed. From the lobby, it didn't seem too crowded, which might be because the ground floor common areas are quite spacious and grand. The only minor drawback is that the elevators are a bit slow, especially considering it's nearly a 60-story building.

Guest UserDuring my stay at the Hyatt Regency Guiyang, I was extremely impressed and grateful for the thoughtful and professional service provided by staff member Xiao Wu. From check-in inquiries to check-out, she was consistently helpful, clearly explaining room amenities and executive lounge benefits, and efficiently resolved an issue with breakfast. She handled all my requests with humility and demonstrated excellent professional expertise. This outstanding service truly reflects the hotel's high standards, making my stay very comfortable and pleasant.

I never expected to find such a great hotel in Guiyang – the value for money is outstanding. The front desk service during check-in was incredibly thoughtful and warm, and they even upgraded my room type for free, fulfilling all the requests I made when booking. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very convenient to get around, eat, and shop downstairs. The room was tidy and beautiful, spacious and clean, and the city view was also quite good. If I come to Guiyang again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

Guest UserIt's absolutely fantastic to stay at Sofitel hotel Guiyang. It is near to Guiyang Jiaxiu pavillion and walking distance to the metro.
Hotel checking in is fast and clear, they got us dinner sorted and reception booked transport for us for the next day no problem. Checking out is fast and easy, Lisa and Jason were especially nice and friendly and they got us some Guiyang special souvenirs.
The room is cozy, bed is comfortable, the room is sound proof, and we loved the great view, amazing horizon across the city of Guiyang.
The amenety of the hotel are okay, lovely restaurant, swimming pool, lifts are a little confusing as reception is on 55 and the rooms need a different lift to access, but there is always someone around to help if you are lost.
Coffee machine and cups were at a low level in a room without carpets, so be aware of it ,they're easy to knock over and shatter.
Dinner and breakfast are delicious, wide range of food suitable for any type of diet.
We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves to travel and explore Guiyang.

SansanmanmanThe room is very stylish, spacious and bright, with good views and complete facilities. All services are satisfactory, including the doorman helping to open the door and carry luggage, the front desk reception, and the coffee bar making coffee. The room also has welcome fruit and afternoon tea, and breakfast can be enjoyed in the room. The overall service exceeded expectations. The lobby is furnished with style and retro features, which is my favorite style. In short, it was a very pleasant stay.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right above Qingyun Street. The room environment is fantastic, and the hotel staff were lovely, even arranging a river view room for us! However, the elevators in the building are truly suffocating. One of the three was broken, and with it being peak tourist season, going up and down was incredibly inconvenient. We had to wait at least 10 minutes for an elevator 😂. We heard from the hotel staff that they are coordinating with the building management to upgrade the elevator equipment, and we hope it gets resolved soon, otherwise, it will really affect the hotel's reputation. Aside from the elevator issue, the hotel room experience was very good.

The hotel grounds are quite spacious, but apart from being large, there isn't much to praise about the garden view; the design is rather ordinary.
1. For a five-star hotel, it feels remarkably stingy. For such an expensive room rate, the mini-bar was completely empty. Honestly, a few cans of Coke or Sprite might not get drunk, but it's the gesture that counts. There weren't even any welcome fruits, something even a basic guesthouse provides. How can a big hotel be so dismissive of these small touches?
2. As a family-focused hotel, it's expected to have many children, but the swimming pool water was so murky it was uninviting. The hotel should consider adult guests more, perhaps by dedicating a separate lane. Plus, the outdoor pool closes quite early. Overall, for adults without children, the pool is practically useless.
3. Our flight was canceled late at night due to a typhoon, forcing us to rebook an earlier flight. We had to leave first thing in the morning. We had breakfast included, so we went to the breakfast area to ask for some food to go. The manager said we could only take simple items like eggs and bread, nothing else. Why? We paid extra for breakfast in our room rate, why are we restricted to just a few items? The restaurant manager then said we could take a little more, but only if we signed an agreement to avoid disputes… and we had to list everything we wanted to take. We were already in a rush, and then they gave us two small boxes, following us the whole time. In the end, just as she said, it was a very small amount. I really don't understand this policy. Many children, who don't even pay for breakfast, waste food by eating half and discarding half, with no one supervising. Yet, paying guests who genuinely need it are treated this way?
4. The buffet dinner was terrible value for money. Apart from some tiny crayfish, there was hardly anything else worth eating!
While it's a good family hotel that's kid-friendly, as an adult looking for a relaxing vacation, you'll feel largely overlooked here.
