GGuest UserStaying at Qushe B&B in Yabuli for a summer getaway was absolutely delightful! The guesthouse is surrounded by lush greenery, and when you open the window, all you see are mountains and forests. The air is so fresh, it feels like a natural oxygen bar. The room was tastefully decorated, and both the AC and fan worked great. I didn't even need the AC at night; the mountain breeze was wonderfully cool. The owner also recommended some nearby hiking trails, where the streams gurgled along, and the scenery was unbelievably beautiful. Breakfast included freshly picked blueberries and farm-fresh eggs â healthy and delicious. In the evening, I relaxed in the yard, stargazing and listening to the sounds of insects. It was so incredibly peaceful. I'll definitely be back next summer for another vacation. This place is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!
GGuest UserMy child was on summer vacation, so I brought her to play in the nearby suburbs and we chose this place. She was very happy, and I loved it too. The room was clean, hygienic, and cool. Both indoor and outdoor facilities were excellent. The customer service staff were very enthusiastic. There were many cherry trees in the yard, and we could eat the cherries for free, which was absolutely fantastic đ Five-star review!
YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. đđđ

AAnonymous UserWe specifically chose the Ritz-Carlton Harbin to celebrate our anniversary. We informed the hotel in advance about our needs, and everything was perfectly arranged before our arrival. The room offered a panoramic view of the Songhua River, and the sunset was truly stunning. Choosing the Ritz for such an important occasion was definitely the right decision. Teasel (a staff member) even asked about our stay experience and invited us to return in the future. We are extremely satisfied!

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, spacious, and bright, with complete and convenient facilities. It's right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral and a 10-minute walk from Central Street. Downstairs, there's a department store with everything you could need. The hotel breakfast is also delicious, with a rich variety of dishes, including halal options, and new dishes are introduced daily. The front desk service is warm and efficient; we bothered them quite a bit, but they were always patient and helpful. The soundproofing in the room is excellent too, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserPros:
1. The room was very spacious, luxuriously decorated, and the ambiance was elegant, making for a comfortable stay.
2. The facilities were excellent. The toilet was a smart toilet, and the room had both a humidifier and an air purifier.
3. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff handled issues efficiently and promptly, and their attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel's hot spring is open to the public, and during the Chinese New Year, it was quite crowded. Guests didn't have a dedicated entrance and had to queue at the door to get a wristband before entering, which was inconvenient.
2. There was only one outdoor hot spring pool; all the others were indoors. This wasn't quite what I expected. I wish there were more outdoor pools, especially since the hotel's main selling point is its hot spring.
3. The gym had a limited number of machines, which wasn't quite enough. Also, there was a lack of equipment maintenance; the handles on some machines were too slippery. The gym's access control seemed to have an issue, as sometimes the card swipe wouldn't work.

XXiangrixiaokuikuilaExtremely satisfied with my stay. The location is great, about a 30-minute drive from both the high-speed train station and the airport.
**Ambiance:** The lobby, like other Mandarin Oriental hotels, is very grand and impressive.
**Facilities:** The facilities are well-maintained, but it doesn't have smart home features throughout the room.
**Cleanliness:** Overall, it was clean and tidy.
**Service:** The service was excellent, very warm and attentive. Today was 'Lidong' (Beginning of Winter), and they even specially served dumplings for breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch.

KKennyOTMđ° A Slice of Russia in the Snow | Volga Manor
Stepping into Volga Manor feels like opening a storybook to a chapter set in a winter fairy tale. Just a short drive from Harbin's center, this sprawling estate transports you straight to the banks of the Volga River, with its breathtaking collection of original and recreated Russian-style architecture dusted in perfect snow.
Every turn reveals another iconic silhouette against the crisp blue skyâthe golden domes of Saint Nicholas Church, the charming pastel Mikhailovskiy Castle, and rustic wooden villas straight out of a Chekhov play. The silence of the snow-clad birch forests, broken only by the distant chime of a bell, makes the entire experience feel wonderfully surreal and serene.
Whether you're exploring the art-filled interiors, savoring a warm bowl of authentic Russian borscht, or simply wandering the frozen canals and bridges, the manor offers a perfectly curated and picturesque escape. Itâs less an attraction and more a journeyâa peaceful, photogenic retreat into a different time and place.
⨠The Perfect Winter Detour:
When the bustling ice festivals call for a quiet counterpoint, Volga Manor is your answer. Itâs the soulful, artistic heartbeat of Harbinâs multicultural charm.

GGuest UserWhat's it like to be a âcastle ownerâ for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck â a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable âViscount Interior Room.â The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside â a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the âChocolate Castleâ theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
