Qingdao Hotels with Bars

Huge thanks to Grace for the warm welcome and for upgrading our room! The 270-degree view from the room was absolutely breathtaking – perfect for enjoying sunny days, stunning sunsets, and the beautiful 'blue hour'. The complimentary first-round mini-bar was so well-stocked, even I, who drinks a lot of water, couldn't finish it all. The large bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast at the ocean-view restaurant was also a treat, with both the food and the scenery being delightful. All the staff were very friendly and proactive. The bathrobes were also very comfortable. Overall, it was a truly worthwhile stay; you don't even need to leave the hotel to enjoy beautiful scenery. Some suggestions: 1. Room cleaning was a bit slow, making us wait quite a while before check-in (Grace did offer some comfort, which we appreciated). 2. The shower water temperature couldn't be adjusted very high. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't turn it hard enough or if the hotel set a maximum temperature to prevent scalding. However, as someone who gets cold easily, I'd prefer slightly hotter water. All in all, I highly recommend staying here!

Traveling with girlfriends, I was deeply attracted by this store at a glance! The overall environment is full of atmosphere, like a romantic Monet garden, and the photos are especially filmed. The rooms are clean and tidy, the sanitation is in place, and the smart facilities in the whole house are convenient and comfortable to use. The store has an elegant cafe and a small tavern with a sense of atmosphere, and there are many places to relax. The restaurant tastes great, the breakfast is handmade, the special dumplings taste superb, delicious and warm. The staff is warm and caring, friendly and easy-going, and takes care of us as family members throughout the whole process. The experience is full. The best choice for girlfriends to travel is highly recommended!

Overall, it was absolutely amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. First, let's talk about the location. It's not right by Golden Beach Bathing Beach, but it is considered part of Golden Beach. It takes about a 10-minute walk to get to the bathing beach. However, I think there's no need to go that far. Just a few steps out the back door of the lobby bar, and you're directly on a very fine and clean sandy beach (compared to the crowded Golden Beach Bathing Beach with inconsistent sand quality, I think the beach behind the hotel is much better, though it's not suitable for swimming). Of course, if you want to take public transport, I haven't tried it, but I guess most people drive to resort hotels, right? Or take a taxi. However, there are no hotel-owned charging stations. Next, the room. I booked the 'Embrace the Sea Dream' King Bed room, which offers a partial sea view, quite partial indeed. The hotel's description wasn't very clear on this. All the facilities in the room were fine, and everything you could need was provided, such as disposable bath bags, bath balls, pour-over coffee, a temperature-controlled kettle, etc. You could even request bed rails. Honestly, I never felt like I was missing anything during my stay. As for food, I found the hotel's buffet breakfast to be very rich and tasty... You can even find several breads from 'Fermentation Master' in the bread section. There's also a Mexican taco stand with a really authentic sauce; it felt like Taco Bell couldn't even compare. There were various steamed grains available for children, and what was surprising was that the toddler cutlery was exactly the same as what we use at home (a full set from Shixi). And the most important thing!!! Unlimited craft beer at the hotel! It was authentic Qingdao 1903 Time Craft Beer, about 26 yuan a glass! 🤔 You can get it from the front desk, with two rotating flavors. I went in and out and must have had nearly 30 glasses, it was awesome! Since I don't drink much alcohol, I prefer sweet drinks. I recommend the strawberry grapefruit and grapefruit white tea. The hotel also has a craft beer restaurant (with proper brewing equipment) and a bakery (Fermentation Master). You can have dinner at the craft beer restaurant; the second floor is Chinese, and the first floor is German. The food was decent, and the prices were reasonable. Hotel guests get a 21% discount, and the hotel also provides two craft beer vouchers. Remember to bring them when you go for dinner, so you don't have to buy drinks. Staying guests can buy packaged craft beer at the hotel, about 80-90 yuan for a large bottle, and get the second one half price. However, they don't cover shipping if you want to mail it, so calculate if it's worth it. There's also a pool bar, an infinity pool, and a rooftop bar, but they're not very big. They seemed good for photos. I went during the off-season, so I pretty much had the place to myself. Overall, going during the off-season, I think the experience was excellent. The price and what you get are pretty much aligned. Recommended for those who love beer; it's truly all-you-can-drink for guests! Here are my suggestions for the hotel: 🤔 Since it's close to the sea, although paid foot-washing might be common in Qingdao, I still hope the hotel adds foot-rinsing facilities along the path from the beach to the hotel. It's quite difficult to keep the hotel clean when bringing in sand. Also, as a resort hotel, it felt like there weren't many activities. Perhaps consider organizing some activities for guests to enrich the resort experience (though this might also be because I went during the off-season).

Attention to detail is lacking. There were no tissues in the room, and the light switch design was impractical; some bedside lights couldn't even be turned off. Thankfully, the air conditioning didn't have issues with being too hot to cool down. Compared to the sea view rooms, the details here aren't as good. The biggest takeaway, though, is to be very cautious about breakfast. The bacon was burnt black, and I'm not sure if that's a local specialty or not. The variety also wasn't as good as the sea view rooms – it's hard to describe. After eating breakfast, we didn't dare book their buffet. As for the room, my elderly family members felt a bit itchy after resting. If we're talking about the Shilaoren beach for families, the kids didn't even want to play there, which was quite awkward 😬. However, they did upgrade our room for free, so that's a plus. The travel photography service was also speechless, a bit of a rip-off, but many hotels in Qingdao are like this.

Room: Excellent! The view from my room was fantastic, and it was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Environment: The location is great. It's within walking distance of the senior bathing area and very close to the sea. Service: This was exceptional, especially from Elly. As the Guest Relations Manager, she was incredibly thoughtful. She gave us a comprehensive introduction to everything in advance and met all our requests regarding the room. Many thanks to her! Facilities: Overall, they were excellent, especially the gym, both in terms of ambiance and equipment. Suggestion: I hope you'll consider allowing food delivery directly to rooms or implementing robot delivery. Many five-star hotels offer this nowadays, and asking guests to pick up their own deliveries feels a bit outdated for current service standards. Everything else was perfect. In summary: As I told Elly, I'll definitely be staying here every time I visit Qingdao.

What an amazing stay! I'll absolutely be back. Stepping into the room, I was immediately struck by how fresh it smelled – not a trace of odor! The sheets and duvet covers were incredibly soft and crisp, and even the bathroom corners were sparkling clean. I felt completely comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. It was such a comfortable experience! The owner's hand-drip coffee is an absolute must-try! It's full of rich, mellow aroma, with no bitterness or astringency, just a lovely sweet aftertaste. One cup in the morning truly perks you up for the whole day – honestly, it's better than anything you'd get at a chain coffee shop! The overall ambiance of the hotel is incredibly therapeutic. From the charming little decorations in the public areas to the beautiful natural light in the rooms, everything contributes to a wonderfully relaxed feeling. It was so pleasant to simply read a book or just zone out in the room. A super thoughtful touch was the washing machine – it cleaned clothes thoroughly and quietly, getting all my travel laundry done. What a lifesaver! I was so incredibly satisfied with this stay. This hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area!

Check-in was super quick, and she was so polite and gentle, even giving helpful tips for getting around. Her service was warm and patient throughout, making us feel very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, it was an excellent stay, highly recommend!

Our overall stay was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was attentive, the breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the location was convenient for getting around. Everything basically met Westin's brand standards. The only minor drawback was the pool area. There were many non-hotel guests with children and external coaches giving swimming lessons. This occupied a lot of the pool space, making the lanes quite crowded and affecting the swimming experience for hotel guests. What was most unbearable was a coach using a DJI drone for underwater photography. I hope the hotel can strengthen management and designate separate lanes for coaches to ensure the rights of guests. Aside from this, it's generally a recommended stay.

Just checked out of the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort, and this 3-day, 2-night 'lie-flat' vacation was truly therapeutic. We didn't have to rush to any attractions, making it perfect for families with kids or those looking for a quiet escape. The hotel has a European castle style, and the high-ceilinged lobby with a crystal chandelier immediately sets a holiday mood upon entry. We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room. The room itself was generously sized, but the real highlight was the large balcony. Stepping out, you're greeted by an unobstructed view of Aoshan Bay. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed in the morning and the sunset over the sea in the evening – simply an amazing view. While some areas of the facilities showed a bit of age, the overall cleanliness and tidiness were quite good. Downstairs, there's a beach where you can wade in the water or dig in the sand – the kids absolutely loved it. There's also an outdoor children's swimming pool, and hotel guests have unlimited access. Next to it, there's a small petting zoo, where feeding the animals easily fills up a whole day.

First, the good points - Room & Location: The room and location are totally worth it. If you're a foreigner like me, it might be a little hard to get there. But once you arrive and see the view and the room, it's absolutely worth it. -Service: The male staff at the restaurant is very polite, quick, polite warm and thoughtful. · The driver and the auntie at the restaurant are very warm and friendly. Now, what needs improvement The front desk female staff came across as unprofessional. I booked a 45-minute singing bowl session starting at 12:15, and then booked a photographer for 13:00. But at 12:48, the front desk lady called me and even called the singing bowl teacher — while my session was still going on. I think this is basic knowledge for front desk staff: a singing bowl session requires a calm, quiet environment, and my session hadn't even ended yet — it wasn't time for the photographer. After my session ended and I could finally check my phone, But when I got to the front desk, The photographer already left because he was in a hurry. But he arrived at 12:45 — and then said he was in a hurry? The front desk staff's poor coordination not only ruined my need for a peaceful healing session, but also made the hotel's ”photographer service” gift completely useless. At first I thought I would come back to stay here again. But after this experience of inefficient coordination, I'll really have to reconsider whether I want to stay here next time.
