Taipei Hotels with Bars

If you're in Taiwan for a concert at Taipei Dome this is definitely your stay. It's just a 5 mins walk from the concert venue. It's actually within the Song Shan cultural park so there's also many exhibitions and weekend flea markets to explore around there. Convenience stores within the vicinity and many nice eateries too. For night owls, the 24 hrs Eslite bookstore is just next door. The room is also spacious and clean. The hotel staff upon realizing that I was there for a concert immediately offered me a room with the view of the Taipei Dome.

Really solid stay at the DoubleTree Zhongshan. The warm cookie at check-in sounds like a gimmick but after a long flight it actually hits different 😂 Location is the biggest win about 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station, and the area around it is full of cafes and small shops. Ximending and Taipei Main Station are just a couple of stops away, super convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and modern, not the biggest but well laid out, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a proper walk-in shower with good water pressure. City view from my floor was nice at night. Staff spoke good English and were genuinely helpful asked for restaurant recommendations and got proper local suggestions instead of the usual tourist spots. Breakfast had a good mix of ********* and Western food, the congee and dan bing were my go-to every morning. Only minor gripe is the gym is on the smaller side, but everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay here again next time in Taipei.

Hotel seems to be very new. Breakfast buffet spread is very good. So conveniently located. Near the Lalaport shopping mall and near the HSR. Will stay again!

As a loyal customer who stays at the Sheraton Taipei every month, I understand that the government's environmental policy means they no longer provide bottled water (though there's a water dispenser in the room that you have to fill yourself) or disposable amenities (no toothbrushes or toothpaste). However, as a consumer, aren't these basic necessities when you're paying for a stay?

Let's start with the positives: The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Now for the negatives: It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded. The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size. The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing. Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

I had a great stay here for 7d6n while travelling solo. Room is clean, bed is on the slightly harder side., has everything I need. It is near to songjiang nanjing metro station and buses and 2 min walk to both 7-11 and family mart. Breakfast is the only thing that is slightly lacking variety. But the street food nearby are sufficient if the rate didn't include breakfast. Staff are friendly and professional.

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

Very trendy hotel in a good location. Not far from main street where there are lots of convenience stores and restaurants. Hotel provides free mini bar and happy hour in the evening. There are free snacks, water and coffee available on each floor which is great.  

Great value for money: Although the price is affordable, the service isn't compromised, and the attention to detail is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again. Convenient location: It's a 2-minute walk from the MRT exit, with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options nearby, making it super convenient to get around. Cleanliness: The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's tidiness put me at ease.

It was a good litle walk from Zhongshan station exit 2 on this more quiet district with quaint cafes and some malls. If one alights at station 4 or 5 you go down a nice crossing that looks like Japan's Shibuya on a busy weekend late afternoon. Vagus hotel is so strkingly retro with its building facade and the beautifully lit interior. And the pleasant fragrance of their hotel scents are consistent from the lobby to their rooms. The receptiomists per shifts are really nice people. Accomodating and speaks english well. Room is well air conditioned and bed pillows and linen good quality. There is a 711 at the left side corner street and a Family mart across the block, as well as food takeouts around. Noticed spas as well. I highly recommend this for those who want a quiet location and be not within busy Ximen. Its just a station away from center. Stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect indeed.
