My stay at the Torch Building City Intercontinental Hotel in Urumqi was truly fantastic! As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a humidifier was provided, which was such a thoughtful touch given Xinjiang's dry climate. It made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast deserves special commendation – it was incredibly varied and delicious; you could taste the care put into every dish. The hotel staff were also very warm and attentive, providing excellent and efficient service that made me feel right at home. The overall environment is elegant, and the facilities are comprehensive. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi!

The hotel was great, and my stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was good too, with stir-fried dishes changing daily. They offered congee, wontons, stir-fries, and some Inner Mongolian specialties. Juices, coffee, milk tea, milk, and soy milk were all well-stocked. I booked in advance, and for around 300 yuan, it was a pretty good deal. It's very close to the New Area high-speed train station, but a bit far from the Grand Bazaar and Embassy Alley, costing about 20 to 30 yuan by taxi.

The room was comfortable and spotless, but the service truly stood out. Zoe Y. was an absolute angel, incredibly sincere and meticulous in her service. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the major attractions, making it super convenient to visit the Hongguangshan Grand Buddha Temple, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and the 'Six Pavilions and One Heart' complex for an immersive taste of Xinjiang's local culture. Wuyue Plaza is just a stone's throw away, offering a gym, pool, and various restaurants to meet all your daily needs. The Sky Lobby on the 27th floor boasts amazing views, and the recreational facilities are excellent. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The room was spacious and clean, with luxurious decor that maintained Conrad's signature style. The service was attentive and warm; they not only upgraded our room for free but also provided a complimentary anniversary cake. Breakfast was abundant and featured local specialties. We had a minor issue during our stay, but it was handled very thoughtfully afterward. The pool was absolutely fantastic, with excellent facilities and pristine water. The staff there were enthusiastic and responsible, and there were very few people swimming, making it highly recommended.

Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

The hotel advertised as having a swimming pool. They don't. One of the staff took me on a three hundred meter walk looking for the pool in the park. He couldn't find it. I never found it. Then, when I cancelled my two night booking (too late to cancel both nights) they agreed to a one night refund - then once I had left disagreed with the refund. The park next door had people practicing martial arts or something and rhythmically yelling from about 7 in the morning onwards. Otherwise - very convenient to the park and the staff were nice to my face. For the same money we went to a much better hotel (that had a swimming pool) not far away.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone with a tight schedule in Xinjiang! It's super close to the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, and you can see a landmark building right from your room just by opening the curtains. The hotel has a rich ethnic vibe, with spacious rooms and beautifully decorated hallways and lobby. The breakfast even includes Xinjiang milk tea and yogurt.
