Naha Hotels with Bars

First, let's talk about the location: If you're using Naha city as a transit hub and plan to travel around Okinawa by public transportation, I highly recommend staying near the Naha Bus Terminal. 1. Many express long-distance buses depart from here. 2. It's also where Asahibashi Station for the Yui Rail (monorail) is located within Naha city. The Yui Rail is punctual and convenient, taking you to places like the museum, Shuri Castle, and more. 3. You can also walk directly to Naminoue Shrine, and it's not far from Kokusai Street (both about a 15-minute walk). It's also very close to the Don Quijote in Tsubogawa. One more thing: there are many hotels around Asahibashi Station, all sharing a covered pedestrian bridge that connects the bus terminal and Yui Rail station. So, there isn't much difference in terms of location. I chose this particular hotel based on room size. Now, about the hotel itself: You can access the hotel elevators on both the first and second floors, taking you directly to the 14th-floor front desk. Check-in at the front desk was thorough but a bit slow. At the front desk, you can pick up daily amenities like bath salts, sunscreen, shower gel, face masks, makeup remover, etc. There's also that blue herbal tea... On the 14th floor, you have to switch elevators to reach the guest room floors. Whenever I hung the 'please clean' sign when going out, the room was always tidied up and looked brand new upon my return, with daily consumables replenished. Oh, and I really loved the sencha coffee machine in the room; I'd have a cup or two every day after coming back. I even watched a Norway vs. England World Cup match on NHK BS 4K on the TV. There are many supermarkets downstairs, and various dining options like izakayas and Okinawan restaurants are all within walking distance. I stayed for 4 days and was very satisfied overall.

Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

The location is super convenient, right at the entrance of Kokusai-dori. I booked a twin room and it was more than enough space for one person; I could spread out my luggage freely. The bathroom was also quite spacious. I couldn't tell if it had been renovated, but it wasn't too old either.

The hotel is conveniently located. It is opposite a big bus terminal and easy to get to/from the airport. There are many eateries nearby. Room cleaning is done every 3 days. However hotel will provide clean towels and water everyday. Additional cleaning comes with a fee. There is a public bath which can be very crowded in the evening. We had to queue sometimes. Breakfast buffet offers variety which is nice. Our room has a good view and we find the staff helpful and friendly.

A friend who stayed here before highly recommended it, even asking me to bring back the hotel's essential oils, and luckily, I managed to get some when they restocked. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's right across the street from the monorail station that comes directly from the airport. Walking to Kokusai Dori isn't too far either. The service was excellent, and I was lucky enough to encounter a friendly bespectacled woman who spoke Chinese (wearing a 'trainee' badge). She very enthusiastically informed me of all the important details. I appreciate that the entire hotel building is non-smoking, but it's thoughtful that they have a designated outdoor smoking area on the ground floor. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Location: About a 10-15 minute walk from Kokusai Street. Cleanliness: If you request room cleaning, only basic cleaning is done. Trash is not removed unless it's in a trash can or bag. Service: Good. Drinks are available in the lobby, and there's luggage storage on the second floor. Facilities: Not bad. However, the room is small. It's inconvenient to move around with luggage. Nearby Amenities: There's a convenience store and restaurants right next door. Behind the hotel, there seem to be quite a few entertainment venues and bars, with a lot of touting. Cons: Every evening, biker gangs ride around. I stayed for 4 days and saw them every day. There are many touts, probably because of the numerous entertainment venues nearby.

The biggest disappointment during our stay was the check-out experience. One of the front desk staff had a very unfriendly attitude and tone of voice, which made us feel unwelcome and not respected. It is possible that English was not their first language, but the overall service at check-out was disappointing. Another downside was the parking fee, which was much more expensive than we expected. Since we were driving, it added a significant extra cost to our stay. Other than these issues, we had a good stay. The room was well maintained and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was okay, within walking distance to the port. We also appreciated having a laundry room, which was very convenient.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront, not casually mentioned on arrival. Breakfast was decent enough, with an adequate selection, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating. Guests had to register in advance for a roughly 45-minute timeslot, and during our visit we were asked to provide a QR code. It felt overly complicated and poorly managed when they could simply have checked our room number and names instead. The only real positive was the reception staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our requests. Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised.

This hotel is not new but is well maintained in my opinion, we had a comfortable 5 nights stay. Located at a quiet corner in Naha city, Naha port with unblock port view. Pleasant experience with the reception though require a little guessing work when the carpark uncle tries to redirect us to the alternate open air hotel carpark, we managed with the given map, a short walk away. Basement parking at the hotel building has very limited lots, often full after sunset. Ice making machine available on our level lobby and notice microwave too at other floor. A short drive from the airport. A bakery, 7-11 and souvenir shop on ground level, complimentary hot spring bath, coin laundry... There is also a supermarket less than 5 minute walk away.

Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼
