"The hotel is right next to Kokusai Street, and there's a Family Mart downstairs. They change towels daily, and the rooms offer a private space. The shower rooms require a code to enter, which feels very secure. There's a washing machine for 300 Yen and a dryer for 100 Yen for 30 minutes. Laundry detergent costs 50 Yen per pod. The soundproofing isn't great, but for the price, having a private space is well worth it. There are separate male and female toilets on each floor."

"The bed was too soft for me, and the amenities were a bit old. The hair dryer nozzle was cracked and might need replacing. The location was okay, with a FamilyMart, 7-11, and supermarket nearby. The tram station was about a 5-minute walk away. Payment was in cash upon arrival and refunded via TripAdvisor. We checked out at 10:00, and the host rang the doorbell at 10:00 sharp. We ended up leaving at 10:10. Thank you for the 10-minute grace period."

"We had a fantastic stay at Condomio Makishi. Would like to give special thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 to Ms. Kudo. My mum had pneumonia during our stay there. Ms. Kudo sent us to the hospital and did translation for us. The next day was her off day and my mum was to be discharged. She went to the hospital to help with the discharge. She is really god sent. If not for her we would be at a lost. She even bought omiyage for my mum! I would definitely stay here the next time. Location is in Kokusai-dori. Very convenient for shopping, 5mins walk to Makishi Station. If I could give 10 stars I would!"

Amazing
AAnonymous UserWe stay in a small two bedroom unit for 3 days. This unit is completed with all basic amenities, i.e. washing machice, dryer, fridge, table, sink, hot plate, microwave, limited cutlery and plates. The laundry detergent is charged separately. There is no daily cleaning within our stay. The hotel is at good location for hanging around international street and Makeshi market. Although we did not heard the busy street noice, we did heard some sound from units next door due to poor sound proof. Anyway, all went well in the initial stay, except the last day when I failed to contact the reception desk by phone, trip message and email to collect items I left in the fridge. Until now, they still did not reply me. I am very dissapointed with the hotel service. 😮💨 Hope the management more attentive to customers' message.

GGuest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.

DDa7xiao7Facilities: The facilities are quite complete. The room isn't large, but it's well-equipped. Cleanliness: Cleanliness is generally good in Japanese hotels. Area: It's about a ten-minute walk to Kokusai-dori, along the river. Taxis are easily available, and there's a convenience store downstairs. Service: The service is hard to describe. I arrived from another hotel that day and checked in late, and the hotel didn't contact me in advance. I called at 7 PM and was told I'd check in around 8 PM, but luckily I made it before the front desk closed. I couldn't understand a word of English, and even with the translator, I couldn't make a single sentence. The courier gave me the code for the self-service key locker, and I tried desperately to memorize it. However, upon arriving at the hotel, there was a door that required a key. The number at the front desk couldn't be reached, so I contacted Ctrip. Haha, I figured it out on my own. About twenty minutes later, an elderly couple arrived, and we all got in. I tried the codes for about ten key lockers one by one, but luckily, I got through to door 5. The key was very old, connected to the main power switch for each room. If someone goes downstairs to buy something, the person staying in the room will have to turn off the power in the dark... If they don't have their keys, they can just enter the building. You say it's safe, and it's quite safe... but it's not very convenient. For value, forget the bike.

CCheeseyoThe hotel itself is okay, and the rooms are decent, but the annex building is inconvenient and feels almost desolate. You’re told to walk two streets away to a separate building with only a tiny map — it feels strange. The annex is rarely staffed, offers minimal amenities (towels only, house cleaning every four days), and anything else, like slippers or cotton swabs, comes from a paid vending machine. The bigger problem is the location: the annex is right next to bars, clubs, restaurants, and even barbecue spots, so it’s quite noisy at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I was frequently woken, making it hard to get proper rest. Budget travelers may see this as cheap, but if you’re relying on buses and trying to save money, you’ll already be tired from traveling. It’s better to stay a little further from the nightlife to actually get a proper night’s sleep. Staff are polite, but policies, location, and lack of included amenities make it hard to recommend unless you just need a very basic place to sleep.

GGuest UserThe hotel’s ground floor feels like an art gallery — modern, minimalist, and thoughtfully designed. The concierge, café, and laundry area are all located on the second floor, where you’ll also find a display space showcasing artwork and merchandise by local artists, adding a charming creative touch. Our room was clean and cozy, though slightly compact. We had to rearrange some furniture to open our luggage comfortably. The balcony was a highlight, offering a refreshing sea view and enhancing the overall relaxing, breezy atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was enjoyable with a decent variety of options, and the quality was satisfying. While the immediate surroundings are relatively quiet, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, AEON mart, and the popular Kokusai Dori Street, making it a good base for exploring the area.

TthesiaoonetravelsHotel is located in the more residential part of the city in Asahibashi - it is about 8-10 mins walk from the monorail, which is fine if you aren't carrying large suitcases or if the weather holds up. Still, the hotel has a 7-11 conveniently located opposite it, and a Lawson (+ another 7-11) less than 2 minutes away. I stayed in the new wing, where the check-in desks and lobby workspace is located. If you can, get the breakfast with your stay - they offer a selection of Okinawan dishes for breakfast.

GGuest UserI stayed here with 6 friends on a trip. It was very clean, and the room was spacious, which was great. However, checking in was difficult and getting into the room was a real hassle. I didn't know the password and had to call multiple times. The room itself was good, so I think it would be even better if that check-in process could be improved.

GGuest UserClean room, large enough for room to move and luggage, table and 2 chairs, key lock, large bathroom, laundry, walking distance to Asahibashi station and convenience stores.  Large fridge nd freezer, microwave and teapot were great to have in the room! 👍 Overall, a good room for the price and location. Very simple .  A few free basic supplies available and helpful.

AAnonymous UserThis capsule hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Makishi Station, located within a shopping arcade, so you don't have to worry about rain. I stayed in a female 'b' room on the 4th floor, which is a women's-only floor with an elevator. The makeup and washroom area has hair dryers, and the environment is comfortable and clean. The bed is on the upper level, and the slanted ladder takes up some room space, making it a bit difficult to open luggage. You can push your luggage into a small room, and there's a locker with a password lock that can fit a 28-inch suitcase. The small room itself doesn't have a lock. There are three shower rooms and three toilets, and I never had to wait to shower at night or use the toilet in the morning. However, the shower rooms are quite cramped. The biggest problem was during my 4-night stay, the first 3 nights I had inconsiderate guests in the adjacent room. The partition between every two small rooms in this hotel is open at the top (I was in 415, and the next room was 406). I checked in on April 22nd and was woken up by loud noises from the adjacent room in the early morning for three consecutive nights (even though I was sleeping with headphones and music on). The 1st night: April 23rd, 12-1:30 am. The 2nd night: April 24th, 2-2:30 am. The 3rd night: April 25th, 5:30 am – all involved loud noises. Moreover, from the night of April 24th until 5:30 am on April 25th, the overhead light in the adjacent room was left on. The guest must not have returned and didn't turn off the light, and the light shone directly onto my bed. Even with a curtain, light still seeped into my bed, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep until she made a loud noise that woke me up at 5:30 am. After enduring two nights of disturbances, I complained to the staff on duty on the evening of April 24th, but received no response or solution. They said they couldn't enter the room to turn off the light, nor could they tell her that she was disturbing others. I have stayed in many capsule hotels and youth hostels, and in every one, the management reminds guests to minimize noise at night to avoid disturbing others, and they also post notices. Since their toilets have an automatic light-off system, why don't the room's overhead lights have a similar system to prevent guests from leaving them on and disturbing others? Also, why is the top of the partition between every two small rooms open? While opening the room to the corridor might be for air conditioning, opening room to room is a completely flawed design. They should add back partitions or curtains to minimize disturbance to others. This hotel completely neglects its guests, indulging them even if they disturb others. The room design also hasn't improved, significantly impacting the guest experience.

IImmanuel WangAlthough the location is in a weathered area, it does not affect safety at all. On the contrary, it is very lively. The room is quite adequate and there is a dryer. The room design is good. You can watch TV while taking a bath. The only thing you should pay attention to is Yes, it is a self-service check-in. There are two tablet computers at the small door after entering the entrance. Please note that they do not have a counter. Don't go to the restaurant at the entrance to ask, they will not be happy.
