"We had decided to make Barcelonnette the main part of our Alpine France / Northern Italy road trip and booked 6 nights at Hotel Spa Azteca. The hotel location was excellent with free car parking on site and many opportunities to sample a variety of cuisine in the local restaurants. We had the Mexican Room and would book it again without hesitation - good size, excellent cleanliness and room facilities. Breakfasts were also very good with ample choice (cook your own bolied eggs) and choice of inside or outside eating. All the staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. They provided us with birthday cake, champagne and a personal message on my wife's birthday which we hadn't even mentioned or requested ourselves - a lovely touch and great attention to detail."
