Beach Hotels in La Jolla

The front desk staff were very welcoming and provided a map showing the snorkeling areas and restaurant locations in La Jolla. The hotel offers complimentary coffee and hot chocolate by the pool, as well as vending machines at reasonable prices. The pool was excellent, and we had a great time. The location was also great, within walking distance of La Jolla beach, with ample parking. The rooftop ocean view was also excellent, with a beautiful natural environment. The morning sunshine, waves, and seabirds were delightful. The bed was comfortable, with a balcony. It's close to UCSD and not far from the city center by car. I was very satisfied and would definitely go back.

Checked in late at night and it went smoothly. The staff was very helpful. They brought my luggage up, placed it in my room, got an extra bed for my child, and brought a baby playpen for my baby. Very quiet hotel which I preferred. We also got to see some weddings out our balcony which was beautiful, overall we had a wonderful weekend! Great amenities and hospitality! We will definitely be back.

But after I left the hotel, I deducted $30 from the deposit I paid without any contact and communication. Then I called the front desk to communicate that the Internet fee was deducted, but it didn't exist at all. I was a registered member of the hotel. The Internet was free. He said it would be refunded within 5 days. The room is good, but it smells damp. It is estimated that it has been a long time! It’s very convenient to go to the beach. The American breakfast kids like it very much. Parking is free. We need to park the car at the door. When we check in, we can get a card for her car key. When we go out, we can get the car at a glance. This is great. This hotel is divided into new and old buildings, so confirmation is required when booking. Generally speaking, new buildings are more expensive and are independently called ”The Pines”. I booked an old building, but a full sea view room. Check-in time is 4pm and I arrived at 10:30am. There was a vacant room on the first floor of their new building. Considering that my luggage was relatively heavy, I chose the first floor of the new building. You can see a little bit of the sea view😁. The room is newly renovated, clean and spacious. Due to the rain, the waves were a bit loud at night. The hotel is in a great location and there is a cafe on the first floor of the hotel. (Flower umbrellas are only top-stroke, so they are not friendly to girls with long hair who don’t want to wash their hair).
