1⃣️Quiet 2⃣️Clean 3⃣️2.3 kilometers away from Badaling Great Wall
4⃣️There are quite a few breakfast shops on the east side of the supermarket (I thought there were none, so I went to climb the Great Wall and bought a bunch of junk snacks in the supermarket)
5⃣️Breakfast water at the Great Wall is very expensive, so it is recommended to bring your own water and dry food
6⃣️The South Great Wall (shorter) can be completed within 1 hour after climbing back and forth without stopping. Stopping depends on personal circumstances.
The North Great Wall (longer) hero stone photo and check-in area, it takes about 2.5 hours to climb back and forth.
7⃣️Don’t self-storage bags near the Great Wall, it’s very expensive 20-40. There are free bag deposit points, walk forward, near the ticket gate (there are several)
8⃣️The return trip is very convenient. There is a bus that goes directly to Line 2 for 6 yuan after exiting the ticket gate.
