Albergo Cappello e Cadore ★★★

"Our group stayed at Albergo Cappello on the eight and ninth (final) night of our trek on the AV1 in the Dolomites. (The remainder of our baggage had been routed here, so it was a nice bonus to wear something new after 8 days on the trail.) The LOCATION was by far the best feature - In the center of old town, between the cathedral and the main square, and with scores of restaurants & shops a short walking distance away. It was also a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations, both of which we used. (A bus from the last trailhead; a train to Venice the last morning). As it turns out, there wasn't much choice, since there weren't many hotels in this area. As for the rooms, mine was small and dark, despite being on the top floor. The hotel was obviously older, with several generations of updates and renovations under the surface. But...It still felt luxurious to have a private room, private shower, and air conditioning after so many days of sharing bathrooms and bunks. The staff was friendly; the front desk guy seemed to be managing almost everything. He was very patient when I called to say the AC unit in my room wasn't working - It turned out there were two controllers, and the one on the wall wasn't functional (A sign would have been nice) Breakfast was very OK. Not quite as good as some of the spreads we had in the mountains, but good enough to keep us going for a few hours. Overall we had a decent stay here. Despite my momentary perception of relative luxury, I must put my "realism glasses" back on to rate the place - it felt about average for an Italian hotel."

Park Hotel Villa Carpenada ★★★★

"The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful."

Agriturismo Modolo Suites ★★★

"First rate accommodations! The suite was beautifully appointed - luxurious, homey, comfortable, with outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast spread was outstanding and we also ordered in for dinner one night - delicious! Best of all, the warm and generous hospitality of the hosts, Elisabetta, Tomaso, and Carlo, was unparalleled."

Vera Park & Wellness ★★★

"I would like to give all the good reviews to this hotel. I highly recommend people who drive by Dolomites to choose to live here."

Albergo Delle Alpi ★★★

"A great stay"

Locazione Glicine with 3 rooms for 4 guests with private parking and garden. ★★★

Agriturismo Casa de Bertoldi ★★★

"Me and my partner arrived to Venice late at 8pm. We found this place last minute a night before and thought we book it as the price was fair for a night. There wasn't issue with arriving late as the host is responding via Airbnb app all the time and also there was a clear instructions on how to get in where to park and what number to call. The property is definitely breath taking. You wouldn't expect it by looking at it from outside. They kept the historical walls from outside but once you walk in to the apartment everything is perfect and clean and the apartment is fully equipped. It is located in a beautiful surroundings and there are small towns around just in case you fancy pizza or beer. We had to depart very early the next day as we were heading to the mountains for hike but if we ever will have time to come again and stay longer we would. You can also book dinner or brunch on their website if you wish. And breakfast was included but we had to leave before that which was shame. Thank you for everything. Pavi and Peter"

Antico Fienile ★★★

"The host was very welcoming, offering homemade elderberry juice. There's a smart dog named Mimo who bought me the door; there's a pebble path leading in. The room was quite nice, and the shampoo and shower gel smelled wonderful. I really liked it here."
