Mercure Berau ★★★★
"Nice and neat, clean and comfort. Newly build with stylish decorations. Staffs at reception are very helpful. Not many of them can speak english especially in the 9th floor restaurant. A bit hard to communicate with waitresses. But all over is perfect."
Sans Hotel Berau Square ★★
"The hotel is clean and the shower water is good."
Palmy Exclusive Hotel ★★★
"The location convenient: in downtown Berau (Jl. S.A. Maulana No.21, Bugis, Kec. Tj. Redeb) which means easy access to restaurants / city centre. • Friendly staff • Good amenities with flat-screen TV, coffee/tea maker, WiFi, a rooftop bar/lounge with views, free airport shuttle"
Pratasaba Resort ★★★
"I had an unforgettable experience at Pratasaba, from the moment me and my husband arrived, the team ensured that every detail was taken care of, making us feel at ease. The honeymoon package was perfectly curated, offering a mix of romance and relaxation. The room was beautifully decorated, and the breathtaking views added to the magical atmosphere. Also the romantic dinner setup made our stay even more memorable. Snorkeling experience was fuuuunn, so many beautiful fishes. We cant wait to return and relive the wonderful moments. Thank you Pratasaba team, keep up the good work, the warm hospitality is everything!"
Hotel Palmy ★★★
"Nice and clean"
SM Tower Hotel and Convention Berau ★★★
"Overall feeling good"
Derawan Fisheries Cottage ★★★
"The location is fantastic; the room overlooks the crystal-clear sea, where you can even see sea turtles swimming – you can go scuba diving right there. The price is low, making it excellent value. Seafood is inexpensive in the surrounding towns, and the lobster at the restaurant across the street is cheap and delicious; I recommend it."
Arasatu Villas & Sanctuary ★★★★★
"Arasatu really did deliver world class experience. The staff are friendly, the food??? If i can give 10 stars, i would love to give it. I could eat everything for myself. Delicious. The seafood are fresh. The seasoning are perfect. Location was neat. Room also spacious, the bathroom 100% amazing. The only downside is wifi signal is not so good but it's just minor."
Neotel Hotel City Centre ★★★
"The room was with strong musty. After 1 hour stayed, we couldn't stand it and changed to another hotel. What a wasted."

Maratua Guest House
"My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Maratua Guesthouse! The owner, June, and his wife took great care of us and were very kind and hospitable. The accommodation, the breakfast and dinner, and the view were excellent! On the last day, we found out that our flight had been changed, and we had to leave earlier. This was no problem for June; he was very flexible and arranged transportation to the airport in Berau for us. This was very kind and much appreciated! We highly recommend this guesthouse and these warm, lovely people!"
