This seemed like a nice place. I booked for an upcoming trip. I paid something like $30 per night extra for free cancellation, as I was still not 100% sure about the exact dates. Well, turns out I needed to check out a few days earlier. You'd think they could just move the checkout date up, then free up the room for another guest. No, not possible, for...reasons. Okay, fine, I'll just cancel. Should be easy right, since I paid $30 extra per night. NOPE! They wanted to charge me for the FULL 10 DAY STAY, even though I explicitly chose and paid extra for "Free cancellation". This was also explicitly in the email confirmation. So, I spent they morning on the phone and played phone tag for an entire day just to cancel a reservation that I was assured would be free to cancel. The management really needs to get their act together. Booking procedures seems like a totally disorganized and dishonest mess.
