"We came for my sons AF Graduarion. Good location, only 15 min to and from airport and 15 min to and from Lackland AF base. Plenty of things to do down here. The Riverwalk is so nice. The Alamo is only a 8 min walk from the hotel. There is a bar downstairs and the drinks and nachos were really good! You get one free drink voucher per day worth $15. Only thing I didn’t like was valet costs $60 PER DAY!! Outrageous! When we called down each morning to have the valet get our car ready NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE FRONT DESK #. Had to call 3-4 times to get an answer. Other than that, it was good."

"The King Suite that says “maximum capacity: 4 people” is honestly misleading. The sofa is just a regular 2-seat couch — not a sofa bed. There’s no extra bed service or anything else that would actually accommodate 4 guests. When my friend and I checked in, we were informed by the front desk that we should switch to a Double Queen room instead (which was about $30 cheaper) because that was the only practical option for 4 people. They basically said if we still wanted to stay in the King Suite, someone would have to sleep on the tiny 1.5-meter-long sofa. Right before us, there was also a family of four (parents with two small children) who had booked the same room type. The receptionist literally told them, “It’s impossible” for 4 people to stay in that room, and they were asked to book an additional room. So if you’re booking this room expecting it to comfortably fit 4 people, please be aware that it realistically does not."

"The food at the hotel is relatively good. It’s just that there aren’t many choices of tea bags. For some reason, the tea bags I drank on the first day no longer appear, leaving only one choice. The location should be good for local tourists. There is parking for cars and easy access. Neat and clean, and bright."

"The hotel had a perfect location for the events we had planned. It was busy in the area because of the No Kings Protests but it had no impact on our stay. The hotel staff upgraded our room due to an error on their part and it was fabulous!! The bathroom was amazing and the beds were super comfy."

"Although the hotel was in a location we needed and was a great price, our stay was impacted by the hotel’s inability to have a room ready for us one and a half hours after check in time. We had a function to attend that night and drove in for it but needed to clean up and dress for the occasion. They told us it would be at least 30 minutes to an hour to have a room ready and possibly longer. We notified trips.com and they made a phone call to try to speed up the process but were told the same thing. We looked for a hotel in the same area but no rooms were available on a Saturday night and last minute (understandable). Just as we were resigned to making an unfavorable decision, we checked back with the hotel and they were able to give us a room (just not what we reserved) that worked. I was also disappointed that the manager never showed his face at the counter when multiple people were there dealing with the same issue. Made the clerk at the front desk deal with unhappy customers."
