Rydges Gold Coast Airport, an EVT hotel Reviews

We use this hotel for it's location. When arriving form overseas and before departing we stay for one night. This way we have an easy morning start when travelling to our accommadation and an easy return before our flight home, no worries about trying to arrive at the airport on time. It's a very nice hotel and receptions have always been welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and batrooms are very nice. Only let down are the meals in the hotel restaurant. I don't feel they are on par with the hotel.

Few bugs passed on the foyer, other than that it was clean. The rooms were freezing, however reception managed to work the heating and gave a blanket, The food was sent the best, but was food and I was hungry. Service was really good though, no issues. The roof top bar was closed, would have been great if it was open to watch the storm. The pool looked great but didn’t use it,

Great customer service from when we walked in the doors until we left. I realize most clients are probably in transit, however a toaster and a couple of plates and wine glasses would be handy. Lovely room with a view of the sea, so good value for money I guess.

Location is great . Food is yum .  And big thanks to Michelle who made my boy extra special that day . Who brought yummy cake and sang for Aidan . He wa so happy .  The room is spacious 😍

Rydges made this stay go from good to genuinely great. The room was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location near the airport terminals is extremely convenient, and the building itself offers excellent amenities in a pleasant setting. On the day of my departure, I accidentally left my earbuds behind. The staff contacted me promptly, though by then I had already left Australia. They kindly arranged to ship the earbuds back to me, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guests. At a time when service can feel increasingly transactional, Rydges stands out for its professionalism and genuine care. I’m very grateful for the experience.

I'm not sure if it's because it's a bit close to the airport, but there was a little noise. However, the room was still acceptable for the price.

As an airport hotel, it perfectly met expectations. It's just a 3-minute walk from Gold Coast Airport, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you won't be bothered by planes taking off or landing. The room was very clean, making for a comfortable overnight stay, especially since Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is also very close, just a 10-minute drive away, perfect for the next day. Overall, a great experience!

My Wife and I stayed recently for two nights. The service we received from the staff at Rydges staff was excellent! The hotel room was very clean and was great for what we required. The only thing we would mention (and a very minor issue), but the showerhead used although I think they are going for a 'misty' type showerhead, it was not very relaxing as the water went outside of shower. Additionally, it would be been nice to include more body wash bottles, as they were quite small. Overall, would definitely recommend Rydges Gold Coast Airport!

Great environment, close to the airport, and well-equipped facilities. The service is excellent, and they even have Chinese-speaking staff. The front desk is warm and understanding.

Very friendly front desk staff, fast Wifi, Free Parking and easily accessible hotel right across the airport. Very convenient for our short layover!

Walking distance from airport. Good for overnight stay to catch the early flight.

We are an older couple catching an early morning flight from Gold Coadt Airport. Rydges Hotel was perfect, great meal in the restaurant staff were delightful, a wonderful sleep and a very short walk to the terminal, we will definitely be returning to Rydges.

really good location, after the flight been canceled, we book this hotel for overnight stay, everything is good!

Best thing is its location right next to the airport terminal. See photo. Take the 760 bus to Tweed Heads.Some instructions for the operation of the tv would help. Pool great, beer expensive, restaurant prices ok, staff great, check the internet every so often for price deals as you can get a deal.
