I stayed for three nights. They gave me a quiet room as I had requested, but since it was on the second floor, the view was disappointing. Outside the window, there was just a concrete wall and a pile of trash on the balcony. At checkout, I was told to sit and wait while they inspected the room, but after they finished, no one informed me, and I ended up wasting time. I felt that was inconsiderate. The only good points about this hotel are that the room rates are cheap and that there is a water dispenser available. 【Negative Points】 1. The door makes an extremely loud noise when opening and closing. 2. I requested room cleaning, but the towels were not replaced, the toilet paper was not refilled, and the bath towel provided was not very clean (looked grayish, dull, and rough in texture). 3. The bed mattress easily slides and falls off, since it is just placed on a flat wooden platform. 4. The shower water is lukewarm. 5. There is no convenience store nearby (the café downstairs only accepts cash). 6. There were no amenities at all, except for a body soap with an unpleasant smell.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but offers only basic amenities.

This is my third Hop Inn hotel stay and it never fails to impress. A hotel at a fair price yet guarantees cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort for guests. All amenities are working well and what I like the most about this branch is the free water refills. The housekeepers are hands on, providing a neat cleanup. While the receptionists are very accommodating. Hop Inn will definitely still be my go-to hotel.

We booked 5 rooms just for the night since it’s just a stopover and at first thought the AC problem was only in ours. However, we soon realized all the rooms had the same issue — you can’t adjust the temperature at all. It was so hot that we woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. This made it very uncomfortable and disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard.

The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly—ideal for escaping the tropical heat. The bathroom was spotless, with strong water pressure and hot water always available. What stood out most was the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. They were incredibly accommodating and quick to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Though the hotel doesn’t offer dining facilities, there are plenty of nearby options to explore. The complimentary parking and reliable Wi-Fi were great bonuses. Overall, Hop Inn Makati Avenue offers excellent value for money, whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Makati!

Hotel is located near the business center, there are different cafes and a shopping center nearby. The hotel is very clean, they clean it constantly, even at night. There is a water filling station on all floors.

No toiletries like soap and shampoo, no toothbrush. They only provide bath towels. Ive been to Hop inn hotels in other countries and they were great with complete toiletries and to my surprise my own country doesn't have one. Disappointing. Also, the guards are not aligned with parking SOPs. No smart Tv. Linens are not white anymore, its going light gray color already. Seems linens are old. Pillows are not that soft, pillow fillers seems styrofoam beads inside. Too noisy as its beside a main street in makati. Overall not satisfied. Will not book this hotel again
