"Wonderful hotel with a great view over the inlet and out to the Bay of Biscay. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast selection. However evening service at the bar in the evening and lack of thoroughness of cleaning suck loads of blonde hairs from the maid service on the floor, means the floor wasn’t being cleaned, let the hotel down. Bar food menu was limited and food was quite greasy and a lot of deep fried options (something with more fresh vegetables would be good). Would stay here again and would recommend this spot as Getxo is a wonderful respite from the built up aspect of Central Bilbao. Near to Neguri metro station which costs under €2.50 per person to travel (one way) to Mayua (Guggenheim) station."

"The hotel gives us a room with a very small window with no construction view, but it is still acceptable. It is close to metro and city center, so the location is quite good. The breakfast is a bit disappointing and is definitely not a 4 star hotel standard. The hotel seems to be quite small surprisingly…Some hotel staff is very rude but most of them are nice."

"The room and bed are very big! Facing the sea! But there is a restaurant downstairs and the whole room is full of smoke. You have to open the window for ventilation! I couldn't sleep for two nights because mosquitoes came in with the window open! The TV is very small and old! It is incomparable with the same price in China! It doesn't come with a toothbrush and toothpaste! The beach is not beautiful! It is recommended to stay in Bakio. The beach scenery is beautiful! You can also hike"
