WaiyayayalichirouThe main draw of this hotel is its excellent location, right by Saishang Old Street and close to several temples. I particularly liked the tea-drinking area in the room, and they even provided complimentary afternoon tea. It was perfect for coming back for a drink and relaxing after exploring Saishang Old Street. We booked a king room, which was over 400 yuan a night without breakfast. However, there are many small restaurants just outside, and we enjoyed trying a different one each day, all with good food. The downsides were that the shower water kept fluctuating between hot and cold, and the parking lot is shared. While 10 yuan a day isn't expensive, other hotels usually offer free private parking, and here you have to queue if there are many tourists.

Guest UserOn a business trip to Hohhot, I chose this place mainly because of the convenient parking. The large courtyard has plenty of parking spaces, which is super friendly for drivers. The room is equipped with a Hansgrohe shower, providing a comfortable water flow and stable temperature. The smart assistant controls the lights and curtains quite responsively. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a restful sleep. The front desk service was attentive; they noticed I was on the phone during check-in and slowed down their speaking pace. The self-service laundry room is a highlight – the washing machines are clean, and you can dry your clothes immediately after washing, which is a lifesaver for managing clothes while traveling. The breakfast offers everything you need, and the milk tea and shao mai are just as good as those found outside.

Guest UserAfter looking at many hotels, I finally chose Langlitzi. It's very close to nearby attractions, and you can even walk to Kuan Alley. Some famous restaurants are also in the vicinity. The hotel's front desk staff were excellent. I didn't try the breakfast because there's a whole street of shumai restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed for three nights in total, and the overall experience was great. For the first two nights, since the standard rooms were fully booked, we opted for a queen room. On the third day, the hotel upgraded us to a family room, which was much bigger and our child absolutely loved it. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient with both check-ins and answering our questions. The cleanliness was impressive; we felt very comfortable staying there. Breakfast was also good, with a variety of vegetables and fruits, plus freshly cooked noodles, so there was plenty of choice. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby. Chain restaurants serving shaomai and Mongolian cuisine are just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also very easy to get a taxi to various attractions. Excellent value for money!

Elisa.sI chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay.
Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories.
The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.
I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay.
If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time.
I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

Guest UserCleanliness: Even though it's an older, established Chinese brand hotel, the cleanliness has always been exceptionally well-maintained. The room was full of thoughtful touches; as soon as I entered, I noticed the turndown service with milk 🥛, which immediately made a great impression.
Service: The service was exceptionally gentle and friendly, truly making guests feel at home. When the security staff needed to move my car, they were also very polite and courteous, not making me feel uncomfortable at all.
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Next time I'm in Hohhot, I'll definitely stay here again!

Guest UserThe hotel boasts high-end decor and excellent cleanliness, with a superb location right by the racecourse. It feels grand and impressive.
However, my stay wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. First, my room was quite a trek from the lobby, easily 50-60 meters away. Second, the pillows were all incredibly high; all four provided were the same, offering no softer alternative, which led to a restless night. Third, the toilet wasn't smart, and the toilet paper holder was awkwardly placed behind it, feeling a bit outdated. Fourth, the staff seemed accustomed to serving VIPs; for regular guests like us, they were rather cold and unresponsive. They'd only answer direct questions, and when I asked about breakfast, they didn't volunteer information about the hours or where it was served, which almost caused me to miss it. Most hotels serve until 10 AM, but here it's 9:30 AM.

Posted on Aug 17, 2026|Horizon Club King Room
Anonymous UserThe breakfast and Horizon Club offerings were extensive, featuring specialties like 'jianbing guozi' (savory crepes), special milk tea, and lamb 'shaomai' (dumplings). The Shang Palace restaurant had good food. However, the room was extremely small; there wasn't even enough space to walk around once my suitcase was open. The lobby, on the other hand, was very luxurious and grand.
The service from the Horizon Club staff was mediocre. During peak dining hours, they allowed customers to block off tables without actually occupying them, preventing new arrivals from sitting down. This is no different from someone using their body to save a parking spot, and it needs further staff training.

QiweihaoxiangThe front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. There's free parking right outside, and it's close to both the subway and bus stations. Plus, there's a large supermarket nearby, making shopping super easy.

Yesterday I was drunk and went to the hotel opposite my work to get an hourly room to rest. The purpose of rest was to work better. After sleeping all morning, I was resurrected with full blood in the afternoon and could work hard again.
Overall the hotel is quite quiet and the facilities are relatively old, but the advantage is that it is close to the company, just opposite the unit.
